Belong to the Lycan Alpha

Chapter 11

“Why do you act as if we have known each other before? You act so friendly to me.” Lilac could feel how comfortable Hunter was with her, even though this was the first time for them to meet with each other.

Lilac could be wrong about her feeling….

Hunter tilted his head. “Maybe because I am friendly by nature,”

“As far as I know, a lycan is not so welcome to the other shifter outside of their pack, Lilac retorted. “That’s your nature.”

Hunter grimaced, as if her words stabbed his heart painfully, “You don’t really think that way, right? You are being judgmental here.”

“And you are being irrational.”

Hunter smirked, he didn’t seem to be offended by her words, instead he found it amusing if she could say the least. “Oh. Lilac, you don’t know how irrational I can be.”

Hearing what he said. Lilac felt a bad omen. What he was going to do? It almost felt like a warning for her, since this alpha was so shameless with his threat. He literally admitted that openly. Copyright by Nôv/elDrama.Org.

“You are crazy.”

Hunter chuckled a little bit. “Not even close, Lilac. You need to know me more to judge me as a crazy

person.”

“And then why I need to know you more? We will not meet with each other again after this.” Lilac was already tired with this bickering even before she arrived at the party, which would be a catastrophe if people saw her with Hunter and was wearing the dress with the style of those lycan’s women.

“Because it is so refreshing to have a fight with you.”

“You are not only crazy, but also weird.”

“You are welcome.”

“I am not complimenting you!” Lilac raised her voice, something that she had never done ever since she was under luna Jasmine’s tutelage, because that was not a luna supposed to be. You needed to be calm in every situation.

But at this point… fuck that. She was not going to be the luna of the pack, since Aiden had impregnated someone else, so why would she care about it?

More so, it took all of her patient to face this certain alpha before her eyes.

“Let’s go We can continue with our argumentation on our way to the pack house, or else, all the good food would have gone once we got there,”

Lilac got so many strange looks from the lycan that she met on her way out of this mansion. They didn’t even hide it. Probably, it was in their nature to be open about their feeling, just like how Hunter had shown her.

Cutside of the mansion, a beautiful and spacious carriage had been waiting for them and Lilac had a

second thought to jump into it.

“What is it? Do you change your mind again?”

“Can I do something else for you, but not this?” The thought of the people saw her with their former enemy that had killed their family didn’t look so good. She was trying to avoid attention because of the problem with Aiden, but if she came with him right now, it almost like she put herself out there to be judged harshly.

It wouldn’t be a problem for Hunter, since he would leave within a week, but she would need to stay here, whether she would still be Aiden’s mate or not. This was the only place she knew, the only place she belonged to, she had nowhere else to go

Therefore, even though it was suck to see Aiden with Ruby, she needed to swallow it… the future didn’t look so good for her.

“Do you want to go to the trial?” Hunter asked lightly, as if he was asking about the weather.

“How much you hate me for you to want to kill me in the firs time we meet?” Lilac felt like she had been. talking a lot more than this past week. This man was really something else…

“Don’t be so ridiculous. I don’t want to kill you, that’s why I give you an opportunity to redeem yourself by going to the party with me.”

“Why don’t you go with your fellow lycan?”

“Because I only took warriors with me, all of them men, the women didn’t want to come, thus it will not fun to have a dance with a man.”

“I can’t believe it,” Lilac shook her head helplessly.

“I can’t believe it too that I have a date for tonight!” Hunter said cheerfully and when he was smiling like this, he became less…. Scary.

His intimidating posture and this angry look on his face made him like he was going to end someone if they were as much as bothered him.

But, upon closer look like this, Lilac knew, he was not that cruel.

“If my pack chased me out because they thought I am a traitor for going to the party with you. I will demand your responsibility.” Lilac walked away from Hunter, but he easily caught up with her.

“Don’t worry, you can be part of my pack member instead,” Hunter replied. “I mean it.” He emphasized. what he said and this time, his expression looked very serious, which made Lilac frowned.

She couldn’t read this man at all, as if he had some plan running in the back of his pretty head when he said that

Shaking off her concern, Lilac let Hunter to help her to get into the carriage.

Along their way to the pack house, Lilac didn’t say anything, she stared at the lively street and her mind wandered around.

In the party, she would definitely meet with Aiden and Ruby again. What could be their reaction? What Aiden wanted to talk about? Was there anything they needed to talk about?

“We are here.” Hunter pulled her back from her own thought.

Lilac didn’t realize it she had been dozing off all the way here.
