Billionaire husband's pursuit for his wife

Facade

"Now why do I feel like you truly doesn't care about my wellbeing? What do you want?" Nina asked calmly.

Chelsea is taken aback by Nina's reaction. The other woman is calm and composed. Chelsea didn't like it. She wanted Nina to be riled up and cause a scene here, So that Theo would come and see his wife under bad light and rescue Chelsea.

"Oh Nina, you are mistaken. I know you must be feeling bitter because Theo chose me instead of you. I know he doesn't like you at all. He often shares how cold his bed feels. But don't worry, we often spend wild nights together. I should have been pregnant with his baby a while ago. But Theo doesn't want to involve our baby in this when he is yet to divorce you. But I have to tell you, he is wild in bed and insatiable. I will be so exhausted the next morning, that he cooks breakfast in bed for me. He is so sweet" Chelsea drew with an intention to make Nina angry.

Nina's heart which was already in pain started to bleed at Chelsea's shameless revelation. But she suppressed her emotions with an iron will. She has allowed Theo and Chelsea to trample all around her self respect already. She cannot allow them to continue doing that anymore.

Nina laughed mockingly.

"How shameless can a person be?" she mused to herself loudly.

Chelsea was expecting Nina to yell and curse her, but Nina's reaction was completely shocking. Not only did she not get angry, what more, she is laughing as if it's a big joke. This made Chelsea frustrated.

"Who are you calling Shameless?" Chelsea demanded arrogantly and took a threatening step towards Nina.

Nina did not move or neither did she stood up to make her point. She is still sitting calmly, without giving the reaction Chelsea was expecting.

"Ofcourse it's you. A woman who is having an affair with a married man and she is proudly declaring about the same infront of the wife. You tell me, what do such women can be named as? I am open to any kind of colourful curses. Because that kind of woman deserves that" Nina spoke casually as if she is not hurting to hear that the man she loved for more than an year and married is in love with someone else.

Chelsea is furious. She is the pampered princess of a reputed family, while Nina is the ignored daughter of a not so rich family.

"How dare you? Do you know who I am? I am Chelsea Dankworth, the eldest lady of the Dankworth family and the future wife of Theodore Morrison. And what about you? You are just a nobody whom no one recognise as anything but trash" Chelsea insulted Nina. Her voice loud enough to attract attention of everyone around.

Nina smiled sarcastically.

"What are you so proud of? What are you without your family name? Can anyone recognise you without the Dankworth name? Will you become a house wife of the Morrison family? What are you? What is your identity without your families name or your future husband's name? You are nothing without any of that. Did you earn a name for yourself? Then what are you so proud of other people's success? For me, you are nothing" Nina showed Chelsea her place.

Chelsea was stunned into speechlessness. No one has ever insulted her like this in the past. And now that Nina dared to insult her, and that too in front of so many people, she couldn't take it.Property belongs to Nôvel(D)r/ama.Org.

"How dare you?" Chelsea fumed and raised her hand to slap Nina.

That's when Nina stood up and caught Chelsea's wrist mid air. Nina twisted Chelsea's arm to make sure that Chelsea would never dare to Intimidate Nina again in the future.

"Ahh..."Chelsea cried out with pain. Her cries loud enough to reach inside the hospital rooms near by. But Nina didn't care or relented.

"You might have gained the love of the Morrison heir. But never forget that he is my sloppy second. A man I discarded. Have fun with second hand goods" Nina said with gritted teeth before letting go of Chelsea who immediately moved away from Nina's reach. That's the moment Theo rushed out of the room when he heard Chelsea's cries.

"What is going on here?" he demanded when he saw a group of people surrounding Nina and Chelsea.

When Chelsea heard his voice, she rushed to his side with tears streaming down her cheeks.

"Theo, it's Nina, she is bullying me again. Look at my hand, She twisted it so badly that I am afraid that must have broken a bone" Chelsea explained as if everything is Nina's fault.

Like always, Theo believed Chelsea. When he saw how red her wrist is, he became angry. All the sympathy he felt for Nina disappeared.

"Nina, apologise to Chelsea right now. If you apologise now, I will let you go without taking any action" he scolded Nina.

Nina felt pain to see her husband openly supporting his mistress. Her eyes became cold. And she looked at him coldly.

"Like always, you are as blind as a bat. You blindly believes whatever nonsense she spews. But it's not my problem anymore. If you think that I would apologise to her, then you are mistaken. I am not apologising to her. You can do whatever you want. See if I care" Nina challenged him. Theo is stunned to be at the receiving end of her coldness. The sweet smiles and the eyes filled with love are gone and is replaced by this coldness which is somehow bothering him more than he is letting on.

"Nina, mom is inside the room. Don't make an issue here" he muttered with anger.

Nina snorted sarcastically.

"You invited your mistress here and you are asking me not to make any scene? Hypocrite" Nina pointed out bluntly and walked out of the hospital.

Theo didn't stop her, which made Chelsea upset.

"Theo, look at her audacity" Chelsea cried.

Theo is frowning deeply. Somehow he is feeling unsettled. He thought he didn't like Nina. Then he is not understanding why her indifference is bothering him so much.

"Chelsea, visit a doctor and treat your wrist. I have to take care of mom" he said before leaving Chelsea alone to fend for herself.

Chelsea is fuming after Theo left.

"Nina, you shouldn't have insulted me like this" she fumed.
