Chapter 12 She's Pregnant
Chapter 12 She's Pregnant
"John!" Albert stepped between them in shock, "Becca was out of her mind. She is too young. Please
forgive her."
"Well," Becca's hand on her face, wiping the blood, "You're irritated by the truth, aren't you?"
"Becca, stop!" Albert attempted to stop her.
"Don't call me like that!" Becca glared at him, "You don't deserve it!"
Albert dropped his eyes, looking upset by her.
"Ouch…" seeing that Albert was protecting Becca, Laura put her hands on her belly, starting to moan
painfully, "My belly … my belly hurts…"
"What's the matter, Laura? What's the matter with your belly? Is it because she pushed you just now
that the baby get hurt?" Maria came over to her in anxiety.

Becca was stunned. She stared at Laura's belly in shock. "She's pregnant?" She asked Albert.
Albert opened his mouth, but didn't say a word.
"Laura has been pregnant with the child of Albert for one month. How could we afford it if there was
something wrong with the baby?" Maria said in tears.
"Get her to the hospital!" Beyond concerning Becca, John put all his attention on Laura at this moment.
"Becca … Becca Garcia," Albert dropped his head, "As you can see, Laura is pregnant. I'm the only
child and my family all hope me to get married early to have a baby. I really love you, but … I can't push
Laura to abort the child and I don't want to let my family down. So, I'm sorry … I'll make you up in other
ways … We're still family…"
Family? Becca couldn't believe what she heard.
How shameless was he to make so ridiculous a statement! Did he mean that she had to accept the
truth that her fiancé became her brother-in-law and bless them?
"Albert…" Laura called at the door, "I want you to be with me. I'm so scared…"
" Albert, what are you doing? Come here." Harrison also spoke.
"Becca…" Albert looked at her in hesitation.
"Get out!" Becca clasped the pieces of the wedding dress in her hands and clenched her teeth.
John had a look at Becca, who was sitting on the ground, commanding the servants, "Lock her up until
she realizes her mistakes."
When the whole family accompanied Laura away, Becca collapsed on the ground exhaustedly.
Because of her tearing, the wedding dress had been beyond recognition and her carefully chosen
pearls were scattered across the ground, leaving the house in a mess.
Everything was gone… Her family and love were all gone.

In Nova Club, Kelvin had a look at his watch. It was 10 pm, but there was no news of Becca and her
phone was switched off.
"Bill," Kelvin went to the terrace impatiently, "Where is she?"
"The people we sent out said Mrs. Lewis's sister was ill and all the family went to the hospital except
her. It seems that she made a big noise in the house."
'She's still home?' That was the only information Kelvin cared about.
"I’m going to find her." Kelvin left away.
Becca held back her tears.
Mom told her tears cannot make up anything for what is done cannot be undone... She wouldn't get
sympathy of her so-called family even if she cried her eyes out.
She was locked in a small room on the first floor, where she had been accustomed to stay as a
punishment for making Laura cry. Whenever she fought with Laura for something, she was always the
loser because all the family told her to be good to her younger sister. But she knew that they were just
making excuses for their being prejudiced.
This time, Becca would rather die here than yield to them. However…
She was starving.
Listening to the rumble from the belly, Becca was helpless.
She had eaten nothing since yesterday, her stomach being empty except for the wine of yesterday. She
was regretful that she didn't fill her stomach up before going back from Nova Club, where she wanted
to go for now. But Becca won't just wait here. She would definitely find a way out even if she was
locked.
She pressed her ear against the door listening to the servants chatting for a while and then walked to
the back window quietly, which had been sabotaged secretly by her and she could go out of it easily by
fiddling with the frame. She slipped out with her small body.
A black jeep was parked outside the house of the Garcia family.
"Mr. Lewis, the Garcias didn't come back. Are you going in right now?" Bill turned out the lights of the
car and asked.
Outside the car, Kelvin was thinking about how to give Becca a good impression when he heard the
rustlings from the walls not far away.
"No." Kelvin wore a smile and stepped toward the direction of the sound.
