Dance for me

12 Chapter

“You’re all so smart,” Sam said to the boys when they were done dancing.

“At least one good thing Sam said to us today,” Steven quipped.

“Thanks for the kind words.”

“I enjoyed your dance, too, specifically Pen and David, their pairing amazed me.”

“Thank you,” David thanked him, but Pen did not follow his example.

“So, today I wanted to introduce you to our new sponsor, and I succeeded. Ethan himself used to be not the last man in the show business, but in the dancing field. He started dancing when he was three years old. He was a medalist in many dance competitions and even won the title of national champion. But one wrong move, and Ethan lost the opportunity to dance further. He is a sponsor now, but I would call it charity. ”

“And what was your injury, Mr. Maloney?” Pen asked him, expecting to hear from him.

“A torn ligament of the knee joint.”

“Wow,” everyone sympathized with Ethan except Pen.

“I think we’re done for the day,” Sam said to the boys.

“Ethan, you don’t mind, do you? The boys need to get their strength up for tomorrow’s class, because today was a light workout, because you came.”

“Of course I don’t mind, Sam,” he agreed.

“All right then, I’m going to go take a shower and cool off too,” Ethan replied and started walking out of the gym.

“Okay, I’m going to stay here and check out your place. You don’t mind, do you?”Ethan called out to Sam.

“Of course I do. What are you talking about?” Sam answered and left.

“Goodbye, Mr. Maloney,” the boys began to say goodbye to him and left the hall one by one. But when Pen decided to follow the example of the others and run away from him as soon as possible, Ethan asked her to stay longer.

“I need to talk to you,” he turned to her and closed the doors behind the others. Pen was afraid to be alone with him, but she got over herself

“I really want to help you.”

“Well, that’s commendable. But you should still open the doors for me, and as soon as I’ve changed my clothes, I’ll come right over to talk to you,” she answered sharply and went into the dressing room.

What should they talk about now? About yesterday’s incident? After all, Ethan, would not miss such an opportunity to ask her everything.

Pen was in the locker room while Ethan thought about the upcoming conversation. Though, what could he talk to her about? About what she was doing here, or what she was doing there, since she was a dance star of this magnitude?

“I’m listening to you,” Ethan suddenly heard Pen say, and turned to her as she walked quietly into the hall.

“I didn’t think people like you could,” he said before he could finish.

“Can what? Bring food and grovel before rich people? Well, now you know they can.”

” Pen, I wouldn’t like to discuss the incident now.”

“There’s nothing to discuss. I want to get ahead of it, and answer the questions you want to know.”

“I’m a little star, but I aspire to more. And I believe that my dream will come true.”

I work as a waitress, as I have no other choice now. I don’t find this job humiliating, even after your and your friends’ antics. Your friends are horny jerks, and you are no different. We’ve done fine before without a sponsor. We don’t need your material support. No support from someone like you.

“You say that because you know you like me. After all, you could read it in your eyes yesterday, and not just in your eyes. You kissed me so sweetly. ”All content © N/.ôvel/Dr/ama.Org.

“You’re a bad psychic, Mr. Maloney. Yesterday all you could see in my eyes was anger and utter contempt for your friends, and for you in the first place.”

“What do you mean by that?”

“I mean that I will not tolerate your rudeness and humiliation on the floor. So pick another couple. ”

“Pen, I think you’re forgetting yourself. Or would you rather they still call you Chloe?”

“I don’t care at all, but I’ll live with it if you prefer to sponsor other couples. I don’t care how you address me. I’ll put up with anything, but I won’t let you hurt me.”

“Even so, you’re brave, aren’t you? Tell that to your coach! Let’s see what he’ll say to you.”

“I’m not afraid of the coach, I’m confident in my abilities, and this free unnecessary PR I do not need.”

“I know all about you, you’re not as simple a girl as you want to seem at first sight. You were a spoiled child. ”

“You couldn’t care less about my past, my present, let alone my future,” she shouted, unable to hold back.

“How about this, I could do a PR against your couple, then what do you say to that? Take a couple not in Sam’s group, for example?”

“All I’ll say is that you won’t go against your friend.”

“And you know, I have my second internship day coming up, I might as well go.”

“Late for work?” I asked him sarcastically.

“Of course, I have to get ready for another round of humiliation and harassment from you and your horny friends. You’ll probably be there tonight.”

“I will, I will,” Ethan gritted through his teeth as he approached Pen.

“Then I’ll go get ready for you, and make sure I don’t accidentally spill anything on your brainless heads tonight,” she answered sharply and was about to leave when Ethan grabbed her by the arm and pulled her to him.

“Courageous, huh? Well, we’ll see about that tonight,” he whispered in her ear, sending shivers down her spine.

“I’m not afraid of you,” Pen said calmly and confidently.

“Then you don’t know my friends and me very well.”

“Your friends only know how to brag to each other about their achievements in sex.”

“Penelope, do you know those words? I didn’t. Maybe you also know the meaning of the word?”

” I’m not a little girl,” she answered sharply.

“So maybe you had sex? Or maybe I had the wrong impression of you, since you were so inept at responding to my kiss.”

“It’s none of your business and my personal life is none of your business.”

“That’s strange. And I want to worry you, just as you make me do it,” he pulled her closer to him with his hands around her waist.

“What do you think you’re doing, Ethan?”

“Since when did we start using the word “you”? I remembered yesterday during our friendly kiss.”

“Let me go,” she demanded and pulled away.

“And if I don’t want to do it? If I want to kiss you now? “I smirked, bringing my lips close to hers.

“It’s not going to happen,” she sharply pushed Ethan away and ran out of the hall.

Ethan didn’t run after her, because he had his own plans for her tonight. In which he’d kissed her more than once.
