26 Chapter
“Then they locked me in the room, put bars around the windows. They were afraid that I might get my hands on myself, so they removed all the cutting objects from the room and the shower room.”
I swore then that I would avenge them for everything, and it happened. I met George by chance a year ago; he turned out to be Carter’s brother. That’s when I knew the payback was coming. I had found a man who was as obsessed with revenge as I was. Now there was a small formality left.
“Ethan’s arrival,” George added.
“Exactly,” Kelly confirmed his words.
“She doesn’t even know what it’s for.”
”
She’ll hear it all for herself when Ethan arrives,” Kelly replied.
Pen remained silent, she was terrified of the whole situation. She couldn’t believe that she now knew the truth, the harsh truth.
It was past time for Ethan to burst into the house.
“Where is she?! What have you done with her?”
“Hello, Ethan,” Kelly greeted him.
“We’ve been waiting for you,” George turned to him.
“I’m here. Let her go”.
“It’s not that simple, Ethan. First you have to write a little letter, after that I’ll let her go,” George told him, handing him a piece of paper and a pen.
“Okay, what shall I write?” Ethan asked as he sat down at the table.
“I, Ethan Maloney, want to confess that I committed the murder of Penelope Diaz’s parents. I wanted to get her inheritance when we were married. ”
“Are you crazy?” Ethan objected, and tore up a piece of paper.
“You shouldn’t have done that,” Kelly said, putting a gun to Pen’s head.
“If you don’t, she’ll kill her. You love her. Prove it. Sacrifice yourself,” George told him. He saw the tears in Pen’s eyes and realized he had no other choice.
“All right, I’ll write everything. But I don’t understand why you hate me so much, George.”
“Is that what you’d like to talk about now?”
“It’s a good time, I think. Because after this, you’re going to kill me anyway.”
“You’re responsible for my sister’s death. And you can say you’re not. But I read her private diary, and in it she wrote that you got her pregnant.”
“I didn’t even know that.”
“You didn’t know? Or didn’t want to hear it? Ethan, she killed herself because of you!”Content is property © NôvelDrama.Org.
“I really didn’t know, I didn’t know!”
“Shut your mouth, now you’re gonna get what you deserve. Write!”George demanded.
“Write”
“I flew a few days from Rio to commit this murder. I needed the money, and it wasn’t too hard to turn little, inexperienced Pen’s head later.”
“George, that’s not true!” Ethan was indignant, but George didn’t care.
“Kelly, he doesn’t understand the seriousness of this situation,” he turned to Kelly, who began to take the safety off her gun.
“Your next outrage will cost her life, I’ll pull the trigger,” she threatened Ethan.
“I’ll do it, I’ll write it down,” he agreed.
“That’s much better,” George said.
“I thought you were my friend, the four of you.”
“Are you trying to make me feel better now? It’s no use, Ethan. It’s no use. I advise you to finish that confession quickly, or Kelly’s hand may tremble before it’s time.”
“Okay, what else is there to write?”
“Write. I had it all planned out perfectly. Everything went according to my plan. But it didn’t turn out that way at all. I thought Pen was a beloved daughter, and they would pass everything on to her after her death or tragic demise. But here, I miscalculated. They didn’t have time to make that damn will, and everything went to her older sister, Kelly. I don’t want Pen, so now Kelly’s my target. But seducing and winning over a mature, intelligent, accomplished girl was a lot harder. She understood everything, and now stands over me with a gun in his hands, and asked to confess everything, writing everything on paper. Now you know everything. Before the fear of my death, I told the story of my violent crime.”
“Did you write it?” George asked him when he dictated the last sentence.
“Yes,” Ethan agreed as he put the last dot.
“Now the signature, Ethan,” George said, pointing to a spot in the corner of the paper.
“Is that it now?” Ethan asked as he signed and handed the sheet to George.
“That’s it now,” he answered and walked away from him.
“You see how much he loves you, sister. That’s the way Parker loved me. Why should I spend my life suffering and crying while you enjoy happiness with the man you love?” Kelly asked Penelope, and ripped the scotch off her mouth.
“You’re obsessed, Kelly. I didn’t think you were capable of that. Yeah, maybe our parents were wrong, but that didn’t give you any right to take their lives,” Pen replied, but Kelly, not liking that, took a sharp swing at her.
“You know, I don’t care. Now you and your lover won’t be happy. I don’t have to kill you, but he’ll go to jail for a long time, believe me. And you can’t prove anything, because all the evidence and everything says he’s guilty. And a confession is the most direct evidence. They’ll never think of me, because there was no will.”
“George, take her away and take her far away. You know, there’s such a definition as Stockholm syndrome, it means that the potential victim, who at first feels fear and hatred for his tormentor, after a while begins to sympathize with him. For example, people who have been taken hostage may later feel sympathy for the bandits and try to help them without coercion, often even resisting their own release. Considering the fact that you’ve had loving and sexual relationships before, it would look more plausible,” Kelly said and got out of bed. George walked over to Pen and began to untie her hands.
“You know, George, I think you’ve been waiting a long time for this, I’ll allow it,” Kelly said, and Pen knew what she meant.
“No, no!” shouted Ethan, but before he could even run up to Pen, Kelly stopped him, standing in front of him with a gun in his hands.
“Don’t even think about it,” Ethan realized that the gun was already off the safety and would go off any second, so he stopped.
“Pen, I think we’ll be fine,” he said, putting his hand on her thigh and working his way up with his fingers.
“No,” she resisted, but it was no use, for her legs were bound.
George had already gotten close to her panties, pulling at the elastic, and was about to pull them off.
“No, no,” cried Ethan, who couldn’t help it.
“Come on, Ethan. Maybe you’ll enjoy watching this,” Kelly decided to hurt him even more.
“Never, never,” he answered her.
George had already sneaked his fingers under Pen’s panties. His other hand squeezed Pen’s breasts before freeing her from her bra.
“No, no,” she couldn’t give up that easily.
“Observe, Ethan. You’ll have a lot to remember in prison. I think while you’re there, George will find some use for your favorite,” Kelly scoffed.
Suddenly there was a knock and a sudden rumble.
“Who else was there?” George asked angrily as he got off Pen.
But no sooner had he reached the door than the door opened abruptly.
“Hands up, police!” Seven men ran into the house. They immediately twisted Kelly, who was holding a gun. They were professionals at this, Kelly didn’t realize how she ended up disarmed and pinned her head to the floor.
“I’m her sister, I wanted to save her. It was his fault, him,” she blamed it on Ethan.
“Is it true?” they asked Pen when they freed her from the ropes and let her get dressed.
“She’s lying, it’s all her fault. She’s the one who ordered the murder of my parents. There’s the murderer,” she said, pointing to George.
“She’s lying, I didn’t kill anyone,” George decided to run away, but he didn’t succeed. Ethan quickly caught up with him, and stabbed him three times in the stomach painfully.
“He kidnapped me, and Ethan came to rescue me. They made him confess to a crime he didn’t commit,” Pen said as Ethan ran up to her and hugged her tightly to comfort her.
“It’s all right, darling. It’s all behind us.”
“They’re cheating, it’s not true,” Kelly tried to say, but she was immediately grabbed and handcuffed.
“Kelly Diaz and George Campbell, you’re under arrest,” one of the police officers said, and with three others began to lead them out of the house.
“You’re going to regret this,” Kelly shouted, but Pen didn’t care about her threats anymore. She feared for Ethan’s life, and she was glad the whole nightmare was over.
But who had called the police? Who knew about the house?
“We obviously have a guardian angel,” Ethan turned to Pen.
“That’s for sure.”
*****
It’s been a month.
They found their savior, and it was Michael. He couldn’t just sit back and do nothing, because he knew what this could do to him and the others. He didn’t think George was capable of murder, and the whole thing had been planned by him. He immediately called Kevin, and they made a decision, to call the police to that house. They didn’t care if their sex house was declassified, because they hadn’t done anything wrong, they hadn’t killed anyone, unlike George.
Kelly was sentenced to ten years, George to fifteen. Penelope inherited the whole fortune and the factory. They are insanely happy with Ethan, which is no surprise after what they’ve been through.
“Penelope, aren’t you going to rehearsal tonight?”
“I don’t think Sam would be too mad if I missed today.”
“That’s great, but you know I’m working on a new project right now, and you and David won’t be the last couple involved.”
“You want to make us stars? Won’t you be jealous of him?” Pen asked, smiling.
“I haven’t forgiven you yet that innocent kiss with him,” she answered resentfully.
“Ethan, you know I don’t need anyone but you,” Pen tried to apologize, so she found the most appropriate way out.
“Pen, don’t,” he warned as one hand rested on his cock and the other buried itself in the hair on his head.
“Kiss me.”
“Pen, are you making fun of me now?” Ethan asked, barely touching her lips as she squeezed his cock through his shorts.
“Temptress,” he whispered against her lips before he took possession of them, picking her up by her hips
and toppled her onto his desk.
“Role-playing? Boss and subordinate?” Pen asked.
“Of course, we’ve never had that before,” he answered, and began to take off her clothes.
“I love you,” he whispered in her ear, breaking away from the kiss.
“I love you,” Pen said, and she kissed him again.
