Chapter 33 Two Women

Chapter 33 Two Women

When Abby saw that I was hurt, she screamed and ran to me, touched my face, feeling distressed, and

asked, “Justin, what happened to you? Who beat you to this?"

I said impatiently, “Leave me alone first, save my friend."

Then I pulled Abby's hand toward the house. Abby shouted, "My box, my box.”

I ran back and helped her with her box, and pulled her into the house.

The thick smell of blood made Abby frown. Her face was pale with fear and she whispered to me,

"Justin, who are these people? They don't look like good people. Why are you with them? If they are

bad guys, I won’t save them.”

I was angry and shouted at Abby, “What are you talking about? They are all my friends. If it were not for

them, I had been thrown into the river to feed fish. You, you are not sensible."

Abby was frightened by my roar and trembled, feeling aggrieved with tears flowing down. She

grumbled, “You did not make it clear. Why are you shouting at me? I did not come here to be scolded

by you since I ran here in the middle of the night.”

Our quarrel caught everyone's attention, and they looked at us.

Amanda came over, gently pulled my arm, whispered, “Justin, Come on." And then she said to Abby

with a smile, “Abby, please forgive him. Justin was in a bad mood tonight because his friend was hurt. Content held by NôvelDrama.Org.

Abby vigilantly looked at her, and looked at me and asked me angrily, “Justin, who is she?"

I ignored her mood, pulled her arm to the side of Ben and said, “Please, save him, as long as you save

him, I can do anything for you."

Abby took a look at Ben, and suddenly exclaimed, “Isn’t this Ben, why did he get hurt severely? You

rest assured, I will save him."

Abby began to take inspection on Ben. I stood on the side of waiting for the result.

After a while, Abby said, "Fortunately, the bullet got stuck in the bone. Once it is removed, it will be ok,

but it may leave a hangover. The right hand may not be as flexible as before."

I breathed a sigh of relief and said to Abby, "What are you waiting for? Save him quickly."

I helped Abby carry the bed to a room, Amanda helped her as an assistant to take treatment to Ben.

The waiting time was so long. I was silently smoking at the door one by one, not for a while there were

many cigarette butts on the ground.

Finally, the door was pushed open. Abby wiped sweat from her forehead and came out. She said to

me, "Justin, the bullet has been taken out. Ben will not die.”

I hugged her, kissed her on the cheek and shouted, "You're great, Abby."

Abby flushed and pushed me away, saying, “Justin, don't do this."

Amanda's face was darkened, but she stood behind me so I did not see that.

I went inside to take a look at Ben. The wound on his shoulder had been bandaged. There was a disk

on the table beside him and a bloody bullet on the plate.

My hands folded, feeling thankful. I said gently to Ben, “Thank you, ben, I used to be a coward, who

dared not to resist after being bullied. But I will never live in that way in the future. I will try my best to

protect you, to protect all people good to me. I won’t let you get injured for me. I swear to God."

At this moment, I felt my heart seemed to have something to wake up. I was coward but not numb, but

the death of Grace gave me a fatal blow, as if my soul had died with her. I lived blankly every day,

deceiving myself I would take her revenge one day.

I was coward and living shamelessly, but today the blood of Ben woke up my soul. It turned out that in

this world I still need to cherish something, that was my friend.

Just when my thoughts were full of infinite regrets, the soft voice of Abby sounded behind me, “Justin."

I looked back and found Abby standing behind me with a tired face, with eyes sparkling countless

feelings. I felt depressed. And when I remembered my rude attitude to her, I felt in guilty.

I said softly, "Abby, I'm sorry, I should not have spoken to you like that. I should not have involved you

into this matter."

Abby smiled gently and said, "Justin, what are you talking about? You know I love you, I can do

anything for you."

My heart felt warm, silently looking at Abby who was also looking at me.

We stared at each other without saying a word, and silence prevailed.

Imperceptibly we got closer to each other's distance tightly embraced together. Abby’s soft figure made

my tired heart have a great comfort. I did not know Amanda was standing outside the door and looking

at us with jealousy, and she was whispering.

A big sound made us apart. Amanda appeared in front of us carrying a medical dish, which had gauze

and potion in it.

Abby jumped away from my arms like a frightened rabbit. She said in embarrassment, “Amanda, you

are here. Thank you, I will give Justin medicine."

She would like to take the dish in Amanda’s hand, but Amanda pushed her away overbearingly, and

coldly said, “Justin is my boyfriend, I give him medicine. You can go out now.”

Abby turned pale on fact instantly, looking at me, feeling aggrieved.

I immediately had a headache. What was going on with Amanda? Why did she say so? Did she think I

was not upset enough?

I said to Amanda coldly, “Abby is professional, let her give me medicine."

Amanda instantly got red in eyes, put the dish on the table, and said angrily, “Good, I am redundant, I

will leave!"

After that, she left without saying a word.

Abby looked at me before looking at the Amanda, she carefully asked, “Justin, do you want to have a

look?"

Although I had a little regret, but did not want to lose face in front of Abby, and I said, “No, give me

medicine, Abby."

“Ok!”Abby said happily, smiling.
