Does he really love her?
Gregory frowned.
“Where is she?”he demanded.
“Downstairs.”Laura sighed.
He stood up from his seat and stormed out of the room.
He went down the stairs and scoured his eyes around for Beatrice.
His jaw clenched in rage when his eyes landed on her.
She was dancing and laughing among some men.
He heaved out a sigh.
This is what he get for standing by and watching her as she drank to stupor.
He walked to where she was and gripped her arm.
She turned to him and strained her eyes.
“Who… are you?”she giggled.
“I will take you home.”he tried to take her away but a man took Beatrice’s other hand.
“Where are you taking her?. We were really having fun.”the man smirks.
Gregory yanked his hand off from her arm with a glare.
“Stay off.”he muttered.
Beatrice mumbled, inaudibly and raked her fingers in her hair while staggering forth and back.
“I mean, who are you to her?. You can’t just take her away from us.”the man took Beatrice’s hand again.
Gregory let’s out a sigh and stared sideways.
Without warning, he threw a punch in the man’s face that sent him falling down on the floor.
The people around stopped dancing and stared at the scene in surprise.
The music also stopped playing.
Gregory gave the man one more look before dragging Beatrice away.
“Huuu.. where are we going?”Beatrice whined.
He dragged her to the car and opened the backseat then pushed her in, gently.
He locked the door before going to sit behind the steering.
“Ughhh.. party isn’t over yet.”she grumbled.
He ignites the car and zoomed off.
He pulled the car to an halt before the house and got down.
He grinded his teeth as he opened the door for her.
“Come out,”he uttered.
She took a leg out.
He waited for her to take the second one out but it doesn’t look like she was ready to do that anytime soon.
“Why aren’t you getting down?”
“I don’t know.”she pouted and stared back at her leg.
“I can’t seem to find my leg. Can you find it for me?”she looked up at him.
Gregory bats his lashes and opened his mouth for air.
“How I hate the drunk you.”he bent over to carry her out of the car.
He placed her on the ground, shutting the car’s door. All content © N/.ôvel/Dr/ama.Org.
“Sorry, mister?. Where are we?. Are we in paradise?”she asked and squinted her eyes.
“No. We in hell.”Gregory responded, icily and started leading her into the house.
He took her to her room and made her to lie down.
He pulled the blanket over her body.
“I only have one request to make. Don’t.. ever drink again.”he said with his eyes turning red.
“Why?. You don’t like seeing me drunk?. I happen to look too cute and that makes you drool?.”she tittered, sitting up.
He gazed at her.
“Sleep.”he sighed.
“Why?. I am not sleepy.”
“You’re drunk.”he scoffed.
“I am not! I am absolutely sober.”she chuckled.
He sat down on the bed, beside her.
“I’ll stay till you fall asleep then.”
“Why would you do that?. I don’t even know you..”she narrowed her half – closed eyes at him.
“I think that makes it better. Let this stranger stay here with you.”
“Nah.. what if you’re an assassin?”
“Then, you would have died a long time ago.”he scoffed.
She clicked her tongue.
“Since you’re a stranger..”she smiled and scooted closer to him.
Gregory shifted back, simultaneously.
“And, since this might be a dream.. although, you look like a jerk I once know but you’re different from him..”she giggled.
“Why don’t you?..”she cupped her cheeks and squealed.
Gregory’s eyes shoot out at her in terror.
“Why don’t you.. get me another glass of brandy. I promise, I’d give you a brand new car if you give me brandy.”she laughed, boisterously.
Gregory could only shake his head at her.
He stood up, deciding to leave.
“What?. You aren’t staying again?.”she asked.
He turned to her, and seeing her flushed face and cherry lips sent his sane into insanity.
He quickly looked away.
He is getting that weird feelings again.
“I’m leaving.”he took a deep breath down, balling his hand into a fist.
“Nooo.. don’t leave me.”she whined.
Suddenly, he turned around, bent down to her level and slammed his lips on hers.
*This is the second time.*he thought.
