Waking up sick is the worst feeling ever and then discovering that for the first time that I was sick because of stress. I felt exhausted beyond this world. It felt as

if a thousand soldiers were matching in my stomach. I had the opportunity to do two events in a row but now I felt like a pulp. My mom stuck her head into my room and

looked at me.

“Honey, are you getting up now?” my mom asked me while I struggled to sit up.

“Good morning Mom” I greeted her and she smiled at me.

“How are you honey,” she said

“I’m fine,” I replied. “Do you think that Dad will allow me to take the day off, I’m not feeling too well” I say a yawn escaping her lips.

“Not well?” she asked coming to stand by my side.

“Yes Mom, but don’t get paranoid,” I explained to her. “I’m fine, I’m sure it’s just stress,” I say.

“Yeah, it should be stressful. You handled those events very well” she said, patting my head. “Am heading out already with your dad” she said and walked out.

“Bye Mom,” I said as she left.

“Bye darling,” she said and then left. I fell back and had a sleep again easing the stress but suddenly bile rose to my throat and I struggled to get out of bed with the covers still wrapped around my waist I rushed to the bathroom and there I poured out all my guts in a puke. I washed my face and mouth and then decided to take a bath.

What did I eat that made me vomit?

Must be that casserole from yesterday. After bathing and changing into something very comfortable. I opened the group chat of all the girls and it was buzzing with unread

messages.

Most of it was asking about how I was and all that. And I learned that Lila was having a birthday bash and she wanted me to cater for which was already making

I was excited about the party.

I decided to watch a movie and halfway through the movie, I realized that I was very hungry as I had not eaten anything today. I went to the kitchen and I discovered that Rita had left some lunch for me in the microwave so I reheated it and started to eat but then something triggered in me and I became so nauseous. I threw up again. I felt sick. I should call my doctor.

“Hello, Doctor Richard,” I say when the ringing stops and he picks it up.

“Hello Rachael” his voice booms back. “How can I help you?” he asks me.

“Richard, I woke up feeling sick and we’ll throw up two times already” I explain and he listens, probably nodding his head the way he does every time we speak.Content from NôvelDr(a)ma.Org.

“I need you to come in tomorrow for some test. Are there any other symptoms?” he asked.

“Like what?” I questioned back.

“Any strange thing?” he asked.

“Yeah, I feel like I have bad breath,” I say because my mouth seems to never stop smelling no matter how much I wash it.

“I have my theories but we will only be sure when I see you tomorrow,” he said.

“Thanks, Richard,” I said.

“No problem, I booked an appointment for noon,” he told me and I made a mental note of that.

“I will be there,” I say and hang up.

I put away the half-eaten food and then suddenly I want to eat some frozen yogurt. I look through the fridge and I see that there is no yogurt there. Since I have been lazing around the house I decided to go out buy some yogurt and then do some shopping.

Waiting in line for my yogurt. Well, it’s summer and everyone wants to have some yogurt. I felt a presence behind me and then I thought I’m paranoid this is a line people have to be behind me and in front of me.

When it gets to my turn the over excited girl speaks up with a smile and bounces on her feet.

“Hey, welcome to Wayne Frozen Yogurt,” she said chirpily. “May I take your order?” she asked.

“I will have a large pint of vanilla flavored yogurt please,” I said leaning on the counter.

“I didn’t pin you as a girl who eats too much,” a voice said behind me and my head whipped to find Noah standing there in a casual tee shirt and jeans and with a smile.

“Are you following me around?” I ask jokingly.

“Maybe I am?” he says and I frown at him. “I’m not, I just had this sudden urge to have frozen yogurt,” he said.

“Really?” I ask and he shakes his head.

“No, my mom loves frozen yogurt so she asked me to pick some on my way home,” he explained. I could sense he tended to first mess around before actually answering your question.

“And you had to drive halfway around town to get frozen yogurt when there are many around your office,” I tell him and he smirks.

“Someone knows where I work,” he said, giving me an expression.

“Everyone in this city knows where the simple armament company is,” I say and he nods.

“Mom likes this yogurt,” he says.

“Your order” the girl speaks and I thank her. Before I reach for my card to pay.

“I will pay,” Noah said and I looked at him. “My treat,” he said with that smile.

“I can get it,” I said “But thank you,” I said withdrawing my card.

“Wait for me at the entrance. I want to ask you something,” he said and I nodded leaving the counter at the door. Later he joined me and we walked towards the parking lot.

“I don’t know how to ask this but can I have your number?” he blurted out.

“You knew how to ask it?” I told him and he frowned. “Bring your phone,” I said and he opened the lock and gave it to me. “Here you go,” I said after typing my number on it.

“Thanks”

“You’re welcome,” I said and I knew I wanted to give him my number.
