Luna of the Cursed Alpha King (Helga and Siegren)

Chapter 126

SIEGREN'S FIST tightened as he watched from the sidelines, his eyes fixed on Helga as she bit her arm until it bled. He winced, feeling a surge of displeasure hitting him as she squeeze the wound tightly enough to make blood drip onto Riovanni's mouth. Gelo, who was also watching, was mesmerized because he wasn't expecting to witness the power of the grand witch's daughter's blood. Gradually, the gaping wounds on Riovanni's skin began to close, as though they had never existed. Helga felt a wave of relief wash over her as she watched her blood heal him. But suddenly, her vision started to blur and the world around her grew darker until everything faded away into blackness. "Helga!" Siegren rushes to catch her, his expression etched with concern and dread. The sight of her pale, drained face sends him into a state of panic. He scoops her up in a bridal steyle and commands Gelo to take care of Riovanni and lead him to safety, away from the exposed field. Gelo nodded in response and watched as the Alpha King sprinted by with Helga cradled in his arms. Despite being attacked, he remained calm and didn't retaliate. Instead, he let his commanding presence as an Alpha hold any enemies at bay. When he finally reached the tent where the medical team was supposed to have set up a temporary infirmary, he placed Helga on one of of the beds so she could receive treatment. "Check her quick!" he barked out his demand to the physician, his voice carrying a sense of urgency and desperation. All around them, nurses were scurrying about, tending to the injured and wounded royal guards and warriors. The scent of blood and medicine filled the air, as the sound of groans filled the tent

"Y-yes, Your Majesty the physician replied and started checking Helga's vitals. Suddenly, a stranger appeared at the foot of the bed, clad in a crisp white coat. It was a woman, her dark hair pulled back in a neat bun and her face calm and focused. "Wait, let me do it," she said, causing Siegren to scowl. "Who are you?"

are you?

"I'm the Lycan King's personal physician, he told me to help with the medic yesterday," she said, her voice tinged with concern as she noticed the faint stain of blood on Helga's legs. Siegren's eyes caught sight of it too, but he assumed it was from when she was tending Riovanni earlier. "Sorry to interrupt, but we need to act fast. Let me take a look at her, we wouldn't want any complications that could harm the baby." Siegren paused, a fleeting moment of shock washing over him, his complexion taking on a faint hint of paleness.

"What? What on earth are you talking a about?" he exclaimed, his brow furrowing in confusion. The she-wolf doctor couldn't help but bite her lip, knowing that the pregnancy was supposed to be a secret. But at this moment, with the Alpha King standing before her, there was no way she could keep such important news under wraps, especially when he was the husband. "The queen's pregnant, and the stress might have taken a toll on her body," the Lycan King's personal physician revealed, her words causing Siegren to stumble backward as his eyes wide with a mixture of shock and realization The word "pregnant" echoed in his mind as he tried to process everything.

"How did you know she's pregnant?" he asked, liis heart swelling with a mix of emotions at the moment, Joy and anticipation flooded through him as he thought of their impending parenthood, but fear also gripped his chest at the thought of something happening to his wife "I examined her two weeks ago when she fainted, and the reason behind it was her pregnancy." The doctor's response caused Siegren's eyebrows to furrow even further, his confusion and cover evident on his face. How Could Helga have known for two weeks that she was pregnant without telling him? The thougs gnawed at him, wondering why she kept it a secret But given her character, it's possible she didnt want to cause hinany concern or maybe she simply wanted to share the news with him in person 13:03 Fri, Oct 18 Chapter

He let out a deep, heavy sigh and began pacing back and forth, has footsteps echoing off the tent. He anxiously waited for the doctor to finish checking on Helga, his heart pounding in his chest with worry. After what felt like an eternity, she finally turned to face Siegren. "The baby's okay, but it would be wise for the queen to take some time to rest before resuming her usual activities. The pregnancy was more challenging than expected, and she must be cautious to prevent any potential risks of miscarriage." She spoke in a calm, measured voice, carefully explaining the details of Helga's pregnacy to Siegren. He listened intently, his brow furrowed in concern as he asked for more information and clarification. He wanted to understand everything he could about Helga's condition, hoping to find any way to make her pregnancy journey easier.

After their conversation, he pulled up a chair and sat beside the bed, taking hold of Helga's hand. He couldn't help but notice the bandage on her arm where she had bitten herself, and it made him close his eyes in disbelief. The memory of Helga fainting before him played over and over in in his mind. She had known all along that she was pregnant, yet she still pushed herself to help Riovanni. Just how close they have gotten to risking her health like that? "Your majesty, the Lycan King's s pack has already been defeated. The battle is over. With a confident stride, David announced his presence as he entered the tent. His muscular frame was now in its human form, showing no signs of injury or even a scratch from the intense battle that had just taken place. It was a clear testament to the one-sided nature of the war pack

"Was there any casualty from our pack?" he asked, his gaze returning its focus on Helga who was sleeping so soundly.

"Fortunately, there's none." David answered before he looked at the queen. "What happened? Why is she unconscious?"

"The doctor said she's pregnant. The stress affected her ***al and physical health which made her fainted earlier." Siegren let out a long, heavy sigh, but David's jaw dropped in shock. He couldn't believe how casually Siegren had just dropped such a monumental bomb on him. "C-congratulations," he said, feeling happy about the news of Queen's pregnancy despite the curret situation. "Do you think it would be better to move her to a more private location? I spoke with the Lycan King earlier and he offered for us to stay in the palace tonight. He even arranged for a meal to be prepared with the help of the innocent s***nts who were evacuated before the attack took place." Shouldn't they be angry at us? After all, we did attack their pack

"According to the Lycan

King, their packs were made up of strangers who were forced to join them. They were not a close-knit family, but rather a group of outcasts brought together against their wishes." David replied and Siegren acknowledged. his response with a nod before standing up from his chair. He then utilized mind link to communicate with every member of his pack, informing them that they would be seeking refuge a Narva's palace for the night.

"IS SHE OKAY?" Riovanni asked when he met Siegren, carrying Helga in his arms. Luckily, only the exterior of the palace was damaged; everything inside and in other wings was still intact and untouched.

"Yes, the doctor said she needed to rest." he asnwered, his eyes shifting to the remaining pack members of the Lycan King. They all lowered their heads in respect as he spoke, and then his attention turned to Riovani. "Did the warlock say anything to you?" "About what? That he was the one who healed me?" Riovanni turned and motioned for Siegren to follow him to a guest room they would be using for the night. As they walked, Siegrenscanned the room for Gelo and when he spotted him, the young warlock gave a subtle thumbs up. He was proud of himself for not revealing the truth about how Helga's blood had saved the Lycan King's life earlier.

It was a secret that must be kept safe at all costs, and Siegren was relieved that Gelo understood that.

"What about your father? Did you bury him already? Siegren's question gave Riovani a moment's pause before he opened the door, gesturing him to enter first. 13:04 Fri, Oct 18 YI W

"Yes. Also, the news of the war pack had already spread through Narva, but I will make an official announcement tomorrow to ensure that

your country and pack are not blamed or condemned for it," he answered, watching the Alpha King place Helga gently on the bed.

Siegren then faced him, eyes burned with a ficcrce anger that could not be contained. The air cr*d with tension as he stood there, knowing what was about to come. He braced himself, his muscles tense and ready, as the first connected with his jaw in an explosive burst of pain. Riovanni stumbled, his jaw throbbing in pain from the force of Siegren's punch. It was clear that he hadn't held back at all.

"You're just going to take it?" he asked, clenching his fist.

"I deserve it, I failed to protect her as I promised." Riovanni's voice cut through the air, but his attention was quickly diverted when he noticed Helga's gaze on them. Siegren's features twisted into a scowl as he slowly turned to see what had caught Riovanni's attention. he saw Helga, his widened in in For a moment, there was a tense silence between the three What are you doing?" she asked, forcing herself to sit but he quickly ran towards the bed to stop her from what she was trying to do.

"I punched him because he had coming. He failed to protect you like he promis-

"I understand why you're upset, but I

down at the wooden floor. It seemed ready explained earlier how it came to be. Riovanni's pack needed him, and he had no choice but to leave me with his beta. It was a situation beyond his control." Helga c**ly remarked, and Siegren clenched his jaw as he looked

like she she was taking Riovanni's side without hesitation, and it stirred up the jealousy that he was desperately trying to suppress. "Why? What is the reason behind your continual behavior of treating him as though he holds more significance to

you than I do?" He blurted out the question before he could stop himself, causing Helga to furrow her eyebrows and Riovanni to rub his forehead. It was clear where this conversation was headed.

Helga's

gaze turned to Siegren, her expression one of both confusion and annoyance. She sighed, sitting back against the headboard of the bed as she shifted her attention between the two men in front of her.

"What are you talking about? I treat Riovanni with respect because he did his best protecting me," she stated calmly, but Siegren could hear the underlying anger in her tone.

"Is that really it? Or have the two of you developed some sort of special connection during-"

"Hey, stop digging on your grave." Riovanni interrupted him, causing Siegren to flinch as he realized the nonsense that was coming out of his mouth. Slowly, he turned to Helga who was now glaring at him with disappointment etched on her face. "What the hell? Are you being serious?" she asked, releasing an exasperated breath. She couldn't believe she had woken up just to deal with this kind of situation. "Wait, that's not what I-"

"Get out," she said, her voice cold and sad at the same time. "I want to rest; we'll talk about this tomorrow."

But-"

"Let's just leave, don't make the situation any worse than it already is." Riovanni grabbed onto Siegren's clothing, pulling him gently, "You need to calm down too, so how about we share a drink tonight?" 13:04 Fri, Oct 18
