Mission: From Divorcee to Millionaire

Chapter 461

The driver helped Everett into the bedroom, laying him gently on the bed before quietly slipping out.

Margot called for a maid to bring a warm towel. Seeing Margot's limited mobility, the maid thought she'd help by wiping Mr. Everett's face. But Margot shot her a frosty glare, stopping her in her tracks. "I'll handle it myself, now off you go!" What a clueless twit, Margot thought.

She snatched the towel, adding sharply, "There's nothing more for you here. Go back to your room and stay put, no matter what you hear!"

It was as plain as day to the maid what was going on.

Margot, always eager to catch Everett's attention, looked at him with the same fervent desire a dog from her village would have for a bone-bold and ravenous, ready to pounce.

Before taking this job, the maid had heard all kinds of gossip, assuming Margot was Everett's kept woman.

But in truth, Everett rarely swung by, leaving most matters to Alex. There wasn't the slightest hint of romance from him towards Margot.

Anyone observing their daily interactions could see that, and the maid certainly had.

Yet Margot was convinced she could become Mrs. Bennett, angling for any chance to be with Everett.

And now, with Everett drunk, who knew if she might finally get her wish...

The maid, disapproving of such scheming, knew better than to voice her opinions. She simply turned and left.

Margot made sure to lock the bedroom door behind her.

Everett had come to her in his inebriated state... Surely, that meant he had feelings for her, right? Such an opportunity couldn't be missed.

Perhaps he'd finally realized his true feelings, especially now that he and Selena were in the middle of a divorce.

As she wheeled herself back to the bed, her heart raced with anticipation. Leaning down, she took in his striking features-his deep-set eyes, the proud line of his nose, his slender lips-all of which sent her heart into overdrive. With the towel, she gently and meticulously wiped his face.

For four years, from the moment

she first saw him, she had desperately wanted this man-not just for his power and wealth but for his looks and physique.

Even through his shirt, she could feel his defined chest and abs, their lines and alluring presence, a

testament to his strength

And then there was what lay beneath his trousers...novelbin

While William, his brother, had a softer charm, he couldn't match Everett's rugged appeal, especially in the bedroom.

To win Everett's favor, she had remained unattached for four long years, her desires simmering beneath the surface...

She yearned for him, to kiss him, to lose herself in his embrace, to feel his strength against her, bringing her pleasure and awe. Just the thought of it set her blood on fire.

She had tried to seduce him countless times without success, but this time, she was determined to win him over.

Unable to resist any longer, she leaned in, cradling his face, her lips hovering just above his.

But just as they were about to meet, his brow furrowed, and he suddenly grasped Margot's wrist, murmuring a name. "Selena..."

Margot froze, jealousy washing over her.

She couldn't understand what spell Selena had cast on Everett. For three years, he barely noticed her, yet in just one year, even drunk and on the brink of divorce, he still called out for hert

No matter, after tonight, she was sure Everett would come back to her, where he belonged.

Softening her voice, she whispered seductively, "Yes, I'm Selena..."

"Everett, you're drunk. Let me take care of you; I'll make you feel good."

Gently stroking Everett's face, she leaned in once more.
