Chapter 34 I might be falling in Love

Chapter 34 I might be falling in Love

I fixed my glasses on my nose as I continue reading my book. Safe Haven by Nicolas Sparks, it was a

beautiful book. I was at the end where Alex gives Katie/Erin the letter that Jo wrote. Yep, I'm in tears.

This book is wonderful, Nicolas Sparks sure know how to get someone in an emotional state. I loved

his books. The one that made me cry more was THE BEST OF ME, that book was epic.

I sighed, I wrapped the blanket around my body as I lay in front the fire side. Henrique went to sleep

about half an hour ago and Alex wasn't back from work so I find happiness by reading his books. Yep, I

founded this book in his library and I caught my eyes. I never knew a man like Alex would read a

cheesy, teary romance book. I remembered what happened on the plane. He was flirting with the

airhostess and now he's being flirting with me and I didn't know why. I didn't know if he truly liked me or

he was using his player ways. But I have to admit he's never tried to make me do anything I've never

wanted. He kissed me and I kissed back, if anyone to blame it was me.

I shut the book and reach for the TV remote. I turned on the TV and realized it was a smart TV, of

course it was, the thing was huge. I searched until I founded Netflix. I search through its contents for a

movie. I landed on Ride Along 2 . I clicked it and started watching.

Fifteen minutes in the movie I was on the floor laughing my ash off. This show was funny, no matter

how much I watched it I'd always end up laughing. I was laughing at what Kevin Hart said to Ice Cube

that I didn't realize someone was watching me until I decide to shift my gazes.

There leaning against the wall was Alex, he looked at me with an amused look on his face. I groan, my

cheeks become red instantly. I eyed him "How long have you being standing there?"

He scratched his neck, so cute, that's what boys do in romantic movies. "Well, long enough to know

you have a horrible laugh." he said with a smile.

I gave him a deadly glare and pouted. "That's not nice."

"I never told you I was a good guy." He walked up to the couch and took a seat. I turned away from his

playfully. "Oh, so you're ignoring me now." He slide off the couch and came and sat beside me. He

touched my chin and turned my head to face him. I couldn't help but smile. "Why are you smiling?

Aren't you angry at me?"

I smiled and remembered the book. I turned around and snatched the book of the ground. I held it

between us with a smirk on my face. "What's this?"

"A book." He said in an 'it's obvious tone'.

I rolled my eyes at him. "No, you know what I meant. I didn't know you read Romance books. I never

thought of you as the type." Copyright Nôv/el/Dra/ma.Org.

"That's not mine," he quickly denied.

"Really? Then who's is it?" I asked not believing him one bit.

"My sister's." Liar

"Really, because I saw it laying on your table opened with this bookmark in it." I said with a smirk. He

had to come up with a good lie to get out of this one.

He sighed and rolled his eyes. He lifted his hands up to show that he surrendered. "I give up. It's mine.

So what if I like to write nothing is wrong with reading, even a romance book."

I smiled at his sweetness. "It's fine. I'm not judging you. It's a good book, I'm almost finished."

He took the book out of my hand and placed it back on the ground. "Good." he looked me in the eye

without talking and I do the same. "You have no manners."

I raised my brows. "What did I do?"

"Well, I just came from work and you didn't ask me how my day went." He replied pouting.

I rolled my eyes. "Well, Mr. Carter, how was your day?" I asked in a sweet voice, a voice of how a wife

should sound. Wait, what! I can't believe I just thought that. Alex wouldn't want me as a wife but I can't

help myself not to think about it.

He smiled. "Well, darling it was hectic but when I came home to your horrible voice I was cheered up."

he laughed as a gasp. That was mean, well the part about my face. The other part was perfect. He

sounded like a husband, my husband. I knew if I was married to Alex, I'd never get bored, he was

amusing. He loved that about him. He knew to make me smile even when I'm sad. He's good with

Henrique and he actually makes an effort to get to know the baby know, which was wonderful. If he

became a father, he'd be a good one. I just loved everything about him. His cocky ways, his smirk, his

smile, his dimples and just the attitude that he gave made me knew that he cared. He cared so damn

much. I also loved his lips, he was a good kisser. I also loved that he's never pushed me to do anything

I didn't want. He only kissed me and nothing else. Which was good, because I'm inexperienced and I

need time to accept the changes and he gave me time. Oh my god, I'm in so much trouble. I think I

might be falling in love with Alexander Carter.
