Chapter 10: Unbelievably Wonderful
Chapter 10: Unbelievably Wonderful
No, no, no, why was he kept on appearing in her mind.
She shook her head to shake him off her mind.
"Alright okay, Austin is an adult now! And today's reward is not only a mommy's kiss but also great dining out! Anything you want for dinner, it's all on Mommy's!"
The children's eyes shined as bright as stars when they heard that Diana wanted to bring them for a dine-out.
"I want French cuisine."
"I want hot pot!"
The siblings shouted simultaneously.
Austin frowned. He raised his head and said, "Hot pot? It's too heaty!"
Emily retorted, "Hot pot is delicious! I don't want French cuisine, it's exhausting with all the dining manners to follow and the portion is small…"
The little girl pouted while shaking Diana's arm with her chubby hand, “Mommy, let's go for hot pot." Please check at N/ôvel(D)rama.Org.
Diana reached for her mobile and started searching for French cuisine and hot pot nearby."
Similar to Emily, the hot pot was her favorite but not for Austin, his likings and personality followed Brooklyn. His favorite was always French or Italian cuisines, never Chinese.
Genetic was scarily powerful!
Diana bit her lips while browsing through the pages on her mobile, “Wait, let me search. If outside food is allowed, we could order a single serving of hot pot to be delivered to the French restaurant, okay?"
"Huh?" Emily raised her pouted lips higher, "Why can't we order delivery to hot pot restaurant?"
Austin explained coldly, "Have you ever see anyone order a take-out in a French restaurant that Mommy brought us before? One can only enjoy French cuisine in the ambient of the French restaurant."
Diana made a reservation at a three-star Michelin French restaurant and ordered two single-serving hot pot deliveries. And then she bent down facing the children, "Alright! Get change now and clean the lipsticks stains on your face!"
…
The Michelin restaurant Diana booked was quite famous in Sliwell City.
The prices were above average, not many could afford to dine here.
Diana was tall, she had a small face and her sunglasses hid away half of her pretty face. A gorgeous lady bringing two cute little children to dine in attracted the attention of the working staff.
What a super sweet and cute little girl with a smiley face.
And a little boy that was as cold as an adult.
Diana put her sunglasses on the table, her gorgeous eyes were clearly visible while she called for the waiting staff.
Harper Gibson stepped into the restaurant at the same time.
The Powell Group had an urgent meeting today hosted by Brooklyn.
This Michelin restaurant of French cuisines was his all-time favorite, he asked Harper to pre-ordered his meal and deliver it to his office.
Harper's sights were glued on the pretty looking Diana.
He was shocked at first but then recalled Brooklyn saying that Ms. Miller was a global well-known perfumer.
The income of a well-known perfumer should be high enough to dine in a three-star Michelin restaurant, but what shocked Harper the most was when he heard the children calling her "Mommy".
This…!!
Ms. Miller was a mother of two children but still trying to get close to Mr. Powell!
This was completely insane!
Harper was sunken into his thinking about Ms. Miller having two children and didn't even realize how he got back to the office.
He delivered the French cuisine into Brooklyn's office and the always calm and perfect Harper dazed out.
Brooklyn frowned and asked, "Spill it out if you have something to say."
"It was nothing Mr. Powell, I'm sorry I was distracted just now," Harper replied and forgot about what he had seen in the restaurant.
If he dared to tell Mr. Powell that Anna who wanted to get close to him had children.
The scene was unbelievably wonderful, he couldn’t visualize it.
The night is getting late, Brooklyn left Powell Group and headed back to his villa driving his favorite black Maybach.
Mirabelle made several calls urging him to come home.
She acted as his wife now, controlling everything.
Brooklyn looked annoyed; he turned off the mobile and threw it on the passenger seat next to him.
At the villa, Brooklyn took off his suit, hand it over to the housekeeper and headed straight to the study room. The housekeeper said hesitantly.
"Young Master, Ms. Moss has been waiting for you all day, she has prepared a table full of meal. But you come back late, do you want to go to her room…"
Brooklyn glanced at the housekeeper and interrupted coldly, "Since when did you start to intervene in my matters?"
The housekeeper's head lowered, "I'm sorry, I've said too much."
When the housekeeper looked up, Brooklyn had walked towards the study room.
The servant that witnessed everything told Mirabelle discreetly.
The gentle eyes of Mirabelle turned cold in an instant.
It was the same! Still the same! Brooklyn ignored her again!
Why!
Mirabelle bit her lips and clenched her fists.
She had to ask Anna to make the perfume as soon as possible, there was no time! Brooklyn probably would kick her out of the villa soon.
Mirabelle pulled herself together, took a diamond ring from her jewellery box and gave it to the servant.
"Do as usual."
The servant received the diamond ring delightedly and put it into her pocket, “Yes Ms. Moss, I will definitely report everything I know about Young Master to you!"
Mirabelle nodded gently and resumed back into the gentle and sweet lady Moss of the Moss family.
She pulled out the perfume left by Diana, dripped a drop onto her wrist and rubbed.
She then put on a shawl from the closet and commanded the servant to heat a glass of milk, she wanted to send it to Brooklyn.
She knocked on the door but no answer.
The light inside the study room was on, guess Brooklyn was ignoring her again.
Mirabelle took a deep breath and pushed open the door, "Brooklyn, you came home late, I'm concern about you and brought you a glass of warm milk, please have some."
Mirabelle put the milk on the desk without a response from Brooklyn.
"Ask the servant to call for me after you are done so I could come to sleep beside you."
Mirabelle looked pitiful. Other man's heart would have melted by her look alone.
Brooklyn swept a glance at Mirabelle.
He could smell a thin perfume that made him relax.
Brooklyn frowned; he thought Mirabelle was the one who saved him before because of the perfume she was wearing.
However, why had he felt the smell was slightly different from what he remembered?
