My Gentle Wife is a Real Divine Being CHAPTER 962

Chapter 962

Ignoring Drake’s cold glare, he turned back to Debra and said, “Honey, the drama’s over. I’ll go pull the car around.”

“Sure,” Debra replied smoothly.

Before leaving, Marion cast a glance at Garland, who immediately felt a shiver down his spine.

Marion’s presence was just overwhelming.

‘How could anyone say that we could stand against Marion? I’m the bravest one in the family, but he still gives me chills,‘ he groaned inwardly.

“Mr. Eaton, do you remember when I paid you 50 million to work for me?” Debra asked.

“Yeah,” Garland replied casually.

Debra was puzzled, and Garland’s earpiece buzzed.

He quickly corrected himself, “I do remember. At New Age.”

“Good,” Debra said, turning to leave.

Garland was confused by her actions.

“Kale, have someone clean this up. We’re leaving,” Drake said, his mood sour.

Then he paused and turned to Cathryn. “Miss Bernard, since the party is ruined, let’s call off our wedding plans.”

“What did you say?” Cathryn was shocked.

She had lost her friendship and reputation for this engagement. And now Drake was casually calling off the wedding.

She rushed over and grabbed his arm. “You promised me. You can’t back out now.”

Drake remained indifferent. “I did promise you, but that was under the condition that our engagement would benefit me.”

He glanced at Garland, who immediately chested out. “Thanks to the Eaton family, none of your partners dare to work with me now. That renders our engagement meaningless.”

“But I…” She tried to argue.

Drake cut her off, “I compensated Debra ten million dollars for you. That’s as far as my kindness goes. From now on, we’re done. And unlike Marion, I hate trouble. If you come bothering me like you do with him, you might be chased out by my men or dogs.”

Cathryn was devastated, turning to Liza. “Liza…”

“Don’t. From today on, you’re not my friend,” Liza snorted, urging Garland. “Brother, let’s go.”

Garland waved his hand, and his men filed out of the banquet hall.

Left alone, Cathryn slumped to the floor. All her effort had been for naught.

Outside the hotel, Marion looked at his Bentley, which had lost a wheel.

“Who did this?” Debra muttered.

“Drake,” Marion replied. NôvelDrama.Org is the owner.

Debra did a double–take. “No wonder he didn’t get mad. He had a backup plan.”

“Wait here for a moment.”

“Where are you going?”

“To take off his wheels.”
