Chapter 2193
Chapter 2193
When Langdon and Fiona saw Logan like that, they chuckled. "Don't worry. She'll come out. They must be monitoring her right now, so she'll be out soon. Just wait for a bit."
Logan couldn't help worrying because giving birth to a child was a huge deal. He had done some reading online, and everyone said that childbirth was dangerous. He had been worried ever since Lola was sent into the delivery room.
He couldn't rest assured until he saw her getting out with his own eyes. The few of them waited at the entrance for a while, and then Lola was finally seen.
Exhausted from childbirth, Lola was extremely drowsy.
When Logan saw her coming out, he dashed right up to her. He lowered his head as he gazed at Lola, and his eyes grew red. For one, he was emotional from seeing his son, and he wanted to share it with Lola. Also, when he saw Lola's pale face, his heart ached for her. Content (C) Nôv/elDra/ma.Org.
Logan lowered his head and kissed Lola. "Thank you, my angel."
She looked at him and smiled. "Did you see him?"
He curved his lips into a smile. "Yes, he's beautiful. Thank you so much."
Lorraine came over and stood next to the hospital bed. "We all saw the baby. He's especially cute, and we all love him."
The Jeffersons had always lacked sons, and now that Lola had given birth to a boy, Old Mr. Jefferson would be over the moon if he heard about it.
With that, everyone helped push Lola on her mobile hospital bed back to the ward.
Logan carried Lola onto the hospital bed in the ward. He had just finished when Sophia and John arrived.
The two came in like a storm, and as soon as Sophia made it through the door, she shouted, "Is the baby born? For some reason, our brat refused to listen to us today, and we took so much time just to coax him."
Sophia also ran over to the hospital bed first thing, but Lola was drowsy and about to sleep. She glanced at Lola, then lowered her voice as she asked Logan, "Everything's fine, right? No problems?"
Logan sat by the bed and held Lola's hand as he said earnestly, "No problems. None at all."
A few people gathered around the crib, looking at the baby as they smiled and discussed whom the baby looked like. The little kid was already asleep, and he had a naive quality only found in babies.
Sophia waited for a bit before going over to the child. She then clicked her tongue as she said, "I thought we could be in-laws, but apparently, that's not happening."
When Logan heard her words, he tucked Lola's hand back under the blanket and walked over to them, saying, "It's okay. We'll rest for a bit and have another baby. We have to have a wife for your son."
John laughed when he heard that. "You're already planning these things as soon as your wife gives birth. Isn't that too early?"
Logan slowly let out a sigh. "I'm just kidding. Actually, I feel like just this one is enough. Lola might want another child, though. In her daze, she even asked the nurse when would be an appropriate time to get pregnant again."
At that, Logan himself smiled. "She really forgot all that pain as soon as she left the delivery bed."
Sophia gazed at the child for a moment as well. "Your kid looks so handsome. Lola must have taken great care when she was pregnant. Look, the kid doesn't look flushed at all, and he's so pale and soft as soon as he's born. He'll grow up well."
Logan was a little shameless as he announced in a proud voice, "But of course. See how nice-looking his parents are; he won't look too bad in the future."
Stunned, Sophia looked up at Logan. "Are you serious? I can praise you if you want, so can you stop boasting like that?"
They chattered and laughed for a while, then Sophia reminded Logan that he should call Ian to inform the latter of this news.
It was only then that Logan realized he had forgotten everything because of his joy.
Logan hastily took his phone and walked to the side, dialing Ian's number. The one who picked up wasn't Ian, but Ian's driver. The driver spoke in a respectful tone, asking who he was and saying that Ian was still filming, so Ian would call back later.
