Not A Useless Housewife But A True Luna

Billionaire T 35

Chapter 35: Revealing Identities.

Melissa's POV

I never expected my father to be so friendly toward Sebastian, nor did he seem overly. upset about my divorce.

I had once thought about seeking the blessing of both my lover's parents, but given the behavior of his stepmother and brother, it felt hopeless; after all, nothing pleasant had happened during our two encounters.

However, we still informed Geraint of our engagement and invited him and his girlfriend to dinner at the castle.

When they entered the living room and saw us, I noticed that his girlfriend appeared somewhat intimidated by Sebastian.

"I'm sorry. Alpha... my brother and mother made a mistake," Geraint said humbly upon seeing Sebastian.

"I will forever submit to you, and I hope you will protect us, ensuring my mother and brother's family wealth and material living conditions."

Geraint was very clever; he knew exactly what to do at critical moments.

"You are indeed a clever man, much wiser than your brother. I can see why your mother believes your brother resembles my father more, but in my opinion, the truly impressive one is you," Sebastian praised Geraint without reservation, leaving his girlfriend clearly confused by the exchange.Content protected by Nôv/el(D)rama.Org.

"Actually, Vince might just be jealous of you,' Geraint remarked casually, causing everyone present, including me, to find it quite peculiar.

"You are the only one among us three children to inherit the Alpha gene and gain our father's recognition. Even though he has many grievances with you, he must acknowledge that you have done certain things exceptionally well. So, for you to step up as Alpha and protect our little family is absolutely the right choice."

As he spoke, I unconsciously glanced at his girlfriend's belly.

For some reason, I felt a twinge of envy at their situation. I remembered when Elliott had told me that Courteney was pregnant, and I had been devastated.

But now, everything was different. Sebastian had rekindled my hopes for family and for having children.

He understood my thoughts and feelings, and he held my hand tightly whenever challenges arose.

We both longed to have children of our own, and he was more than willing to respect my

wishes.

At this thought, tears of joy welled in my eyes, but I quickly hid them before anyone noticed.

After dinner, we returned to our room, where Sebastian and I once again embarked on a wild night.

We believed that with such efforts, a child would soon come to us.

The next morning, we headed toward the northern peak, home to the tallest conference building in the North, an impressive and grand structure.

The first time I laid eyes on this building. I felt both awe and fear.

Although much of the North was covered in ice and wasteland, the areas with soil were remarkably fertile, and the level of commercialization rivaled that of any other region.

Suddenly, a strange thought crossed my mind: the North's development and industries. were among the most advanced and well-organized. If it could rule other areas, it might not be a bad choice.

As I rode the elevator, I gazed at the entirety of the North, all of it crafted by the man beside me, Sebastian. I felt an overwhelming sense of honor and pride.

As I stepped into the small auditorium, I noticed the profound respect the people there held for Sebastian.

The staff looked somewhat familiar, resembling those so-called "harem" girls.

"What is this place?"

I lowered my voice and asked Sebastian.

"The Black Wolf Clan meeting."

A beautiful maid dressed in a uniform guided us toward the Alpha's private box.

She clearly flirted with Sebastian, but he remained entirely unaffected.

I spotted Debra and Vince sitting across from us.

Several elders nodded to Sebastian in acknowledgment upon seeing us, seemingly waitin for Sebastian to take his seat before one of them began to speak. Soon, I noticed the restless women making advances toward the men in the box, completely disregarding us, their female companions.

Martell, ever blunt, spoke up. "Are you trying to seduce me?"

Kala's expression darkened at his words, and to prevent an argument arising from them, Phoebe quickly interjected.

"Excuse us, but we don't require box service. Please leave!"

The women instantly grew displeased.

"Should we leave first? Your reputation and social standing seem more important," I whispered to Sebastian. He looked at me, furrowing his brow "Don't speak nonsense, Melissal They are merely choosing bed-mates and avoiding work. My heart, however, has always belonged to you."

He seemed to see through my jest and pressed a gentle kiss to the corner of my eye.

"I only pay for quality." The moment our gazes met, I felt an emotional current flow

between us.

It seemed my allure had a profound effect on him; Sebastian extended his tongue and sensually licked the underside of my chin.

A shiver coursed through me, electrifying my entire body, and my core tightened in response to him.

"Could you two at least consider the feelings of others?"

Kala's reproachful gaze fell on us, and I felt a twinge of embarrassment.

Just then, an elder from the North approached, raising a hand toward Sebastian.

"Alpha, please have the Lunas follow me."

Although the marks on our necks had been erased, people still seemed to remember our former identities.

"They aren't anyone's Lunas now," Sebastian corrected him, his displeasure evident. The elder bowed his head, appearing to apologize for his mistake, though it was clear he didn't entirely believe those words.

I found it curious; it seemed the spotlight was on us today.

Upon reaching the first floor, Phoebe, Kala, and I were invited onto the stage, surrounded. by influential figures of the North.

"Welcome to the Black Wolf Clan Council of the North."

Ethan Vrzogic, the Alpha of the next region, stood before us. He had inherited his father's position at a young age and was both courageous and cunning.

"Hello, ladies! You may be unaware of the reason you've been summoned here. This relates to the ambush from half a month ago, where their leader appeared to want to take you back. He hinted at the close relationship between you and him."

"That mad dog is out of his/mind! Are you all following him? I don't know him at all! Even if I've seen him once or twice at parties, who would have a close relationship with that kind of person?"

Kala suddenly realized they seemed to view us as traitors.

"Miss! Please remain calm and show respect for the laws of the North."

Clearly intimidated by Kala's demeanor, he cleared his throat softly before turning to me.

"Melissa Helberg, this ambush also involves the Meadow Pack. Are you aware of this?

It seems we've noticed your continued connections with your ex-husband. Do you have any explanation for that?"

I remained silent, raising my gaze to Sebastian, who sat in the VIP box.

Sure enough...

"She doesn't need to explain; those connections were made with my consent. You shouldn't interrogate them like this; I'm aware of everything that has transpired. Moreover, Melissa H... Agrigent, is going to become our new Luna in the North, joining our pack forever." As his words hung in the air, whispers rippled through the crowd.

Although I felt a surge of excitement at his declaration, I didn't think it was appropriate to announce my impending role as Luna in such a setting.
