Chapter 121
Athena's POV
Capital with Elise and Cara for a girls day.
After spending the day with Gwen, Alarick and our children it was now beginning to become late causing me to sigh. For tonight my children would be staying with both Alarick and Gwen because the twins were going to be busy all day tomorrow and I was going to the 'Don't worry... We'll see our babies again soon' replies Artemis, as if having sensed my discomfort of having to leave them behind but
knew that we had to.
'I know Artemis, doesn't mean I have to be okay with it though' I reply back, moving to kiss each of their heads goodnight before moving to tuck them in for the night.
"Mommy?" calls Adrian from his spot on the bed.
"Yes sweetheart?" I reply back to him, my eyes now watching him as he speaks..
"When can we come home?" asks Adrian, a pull on my heart strings rising.
"Tomorrow sweetheart. Once I'm back from the Capital. And if you're good for mommy then I'll bring you home a surprise I move to tell him, his eyes sparkling at the thought of his first gift. "Okay mommy"
Smiling softly, I move to kiss him on the forehead. "Good boy. Mommy promises to come back for you all soon" was all I said before moving to tuck him for the night before moving to leave the room. My mates downstairs as they wait patiently for me to return before each of us head for home.
-Next Day-
By the next morning, do I slowly move to stir, the dawn's light slowly rising to greet me as I move to slowly wake up. My mates currently out on patrol like usual but with promise to see me off before leaving with Cara and Elise.
Glancing at a clock within the room, I can't help but notice that it reads 7:30 am which means I had about an hour to get ready before their arrival.
Better hurry, I muse, moving to roll out of bed as I did.
Once out of bed do I move to head for our master bathroom. Always blown away by how huge it was. 'I don't think I'll ever stop being amazed by this room ever' I move to say to Artemis.
With a chuckle rising from her lips does Artemis move to reply back carefully, 'No doubt you won't. This room is even bigger than that of our last one in our old room.'
At the mention of that, I suddenly feel myself shiver. 'Don't remind me I whisper back, still not over the way that my family had treated me all those years ago.
'Sorry, I didn't mean to bring up unwanted memories' answers Artemis truthfully, quickly realizing her mistake as she did.

Then, with that said, do I move to approach the shower. Setting the water to my liking before shedding off all my clothes before moving to step inside. The water feeling amazing against my skin as I just stand there enjoying it. 1/31
Mmm... amazing, I purr to myself, loving every bit of my peaceful shower as I could.
One Hour Later
After finally finishing up with my shower, I can't help but look over at my clock on the nightstand only to pale at the time that was now displayed before my eyes. Crap! Was it already 8:30 am? Shit.
Frantically running over towards my shared closet with my mates, I move to grab some clothes. Elise and Cara both scheduled to arrive any moment now to collect me and I was nowhere near being ready for them.
Shit! How could I have gotten so behind? I panic, my mind now racing while I move to throw on a black lace bra and matching panty. Dark blue skinny jeans soon follow along with an emerald 4' length sleeve silk blouse along with black riding boots. Once quickly dressed so I move to quickly pull my hair into a half up, half down look before quickly doing my makeup. I need to hurry, I think as I still rush about the room, trying to finish before they arrive.
Cara and Elise both promising to keep everything casual as we spent the entire day together. Just then, as if on cue do I suddenly hear a knock at the door, causing me to pause as it did. Upon reaching the door do I instantly smile. Elise and Cara both now standing directly in front of me as I move to hug each of them. My eyes scanned to see who they had brought along with them only to see Iris, Elise's Delta and Addison, Cara's female mate and lover, Brayden nowhere in sight which made me look at her in question. "No Brayden?"
"Heavens no. Brayden offered to watch over the pack this time around while we have our girls day in the Capital. Besides it'll be fun to just have that time to ourselves and gossip about our mates" giggles Cara, Addison shaking her head in amusement.
"Careful snowflake, don't get carried away" chuckles Addison, snowflake being her pet name for Cara as her wolf was white with tiny hints of black to it and because of the fact that they lived in a pack that was always surrounded by snow. Hence the name Snow Moon. "Snowflake?" I ask, my eyes arching over in Cara's direction, Cara now blushing.
"Ya.... Addison's apparent nickname for me" murmurs Cara.
"What about Brayden? Does he have a nickname for you as well?" I question, now curious.
"He-He does... he calls me snow"
Smiling at Cara, I can't help but feel happy for her. "That's adorable Cara. And the fact they're both snow themed makes it even cuter since you're the leading Alpha of Snow Moon."
"Definitely" chimes Elise with a smile.
"Thanks... What about you Elise?" asks Cara her eyes now on her.
"Me? Yeah, I have two of them. My father used to call me his little Moonstar because of my tattoo that sits on my right hip. A symbol that I've always had since I was 14. And Ashton likes to call me his little wolf or little mate because he's taller than me by an inch. But personally I think he just likes to call me his little mate because he knows I'll let him" admits Elise with a smile, her focus now on me as both she and Cara move to watch me before speaking.
"What about you Athena?" asks Cara curiously.
"Yeah, do Ares and Eros have any pet names for you and only you?" asks Elise.
Chapter 121.
"I- Hmm... Actually 1-" I pause, trying to think back to when we first met. Each of them always calling me different things. From little mate to love to sweetheart to just about anything that came to mind they used.
"Yeah, actually I've been called many things. But they've seemed to have used Love a whole bunch of times as well as baby and a few others as well" I murmur loud enough for them to hear only for a male voice to speak up.
"We could call you Moondust, since you sparkle when in wolf form" replies Ares, his voice catching us by surprise as we all move to look at him, Eros standing next to him as well just as Emma arrives, Emily unable to attend due to other obligations. "Moondust? Cute" exclaims Elise with another smile, making me blush as she did.
"Are you girls ready? You're running behind" asks Eros, his eyes noticing the time only to see that it now read 9 am.
"Oh geez, that late already?" exclaims Cara, each of us now moving to leave only for me to pause as I move to kiss each of my mates, happy that they could come see me off before we all move to head for Elise's vehicle. A big black suburban style SUV now parked in front of our house as we moved to inspect it.
"Whoa Elise is this baby yours?" I ask in awe, my eyes taking in the massive size of it, the SUV having the ability to hold up to seven people in it alone.
"Yep. Figured it would be okay to have it for when we did big outings like this" admits Elise with a smile. The six of us now moving to climb inside as we did. My mates watching from the door of the house just as I move to smile at them, Emma closing the door once seated next to me.
'Drive safe love' whispers Eros through the bond, both he and Ares still focused on me.
'I will' I whisper back just as Elise moves to start up the vehicle before finally driving off, finally on our way towards the Capital as the entrance to the pack becomes smaller and smaller until we're finally far enough away from view.
