Chapter 55 John Lin, The Buyer
Chapter 55 John Lin, The Buyer
"We can meet tomorrow."
Celia blinked her big eyes and said.
"You will come for meal again tomorrow? You earn so much money by selling eggs?"
Now the waitress was a little envious of her.
"No, I can't. the profits on selling eggs are very small, and you can't become rich overnight."
Celia was telling the truth. She didn't want to pretend to be rich. Besides, the dinner was paid by Sharon.
"Then why will you come here tomorrow?"
She thought Celia could earn a lot of money in her small business.
"I have a rich brother, so I can take advantage of him."
Celia glanced at Sharon, seeing the mournful expression in his eyes, which seemed to ask her why he had become her elder brother again?
"Brother?"
"Yes, he is one of my distant relatives."
Celia was panic for fear that the waitress might see through her little trick. Since her brother was very wealthy, then how come she just a self-employed business woman who selling eggs on the street?
"Oh, I thought you were dating."
The waitress said with a grin.
"It is nothing like that."
Celia denied at once. The waitress become more friendly.
"Lily, I want to ask you about something. It is possible that I could sell these eggs to the restaurant?"
Celia stopped beating around the bush. The worse scenario was that the waitress would turn her down. And she had been well prepared for the worst situation.
"That's why you are here for lunch and gave me a big tip."
The waitress seemed to be enlightened at once.
"No, we are not. We were indeed here for lunch. The egg business just popped into my head. If possible, please help us ask about it. If it's difficult for you, that's fine, I don't want to put you in a difficult position."
She wanted to have a try. If other people didn't want to, she couldn't force them.
"Well, it is okay. I might be able to help you with that. My cousin, John, is the buyer in the restaurant. I don't know whether they need eggs or not, but he should know it."
The waiter wanted to help her because Celia was nice to her before and didn't blame her for the Eel Soup.
"Really. Thank you so much."
Celia didn't expect that things happened like this.
"Don't thank me for that. Although my cousin bought food for the kitchen, he is stubborn and won't listen to me. I can only bring you to the kitchen. You can ask him yourself, it depends on you whether you could get the deal."
Since Celia was so nice to her, it would be rude if she didn't help Celia this time.
"Okay, thank you very much."
Celia was a skilled saleswoman in her previous life. Although she was selling eggs this time, she had actually sold things that were more difficult than eggs in her previous life. This time, she was confident.
Lily led her to the busy kitchen and Sharon carry a basket of eggs on his back.
"John, this is my friend. She want to see you."
Then they saw a handsome young man. He looked about twenty-five years old.
"Why do you have so many friends? I am busy checking goods."
He was irritated, and he was about to rush back to the kitchen.
"Mr. John, nice to meet you!"
Celia blocked his way.
"Who are you? Do we know each other?"
The moment he saw Celia's face, he stopped walking. She was so beautiful. Although he was dull, he was still a man.
"No, we don't. I know your sister and want to ask you something. It won't take you a few minutes."
Celia was polite. Her big sparkling eyes fixed on him.
"John, say something!"
Upon hearing this, Lily was eighty percent sure that Celia would make the deal. John couldn't even take his eyes off Celia.
"Oh, what's the matter?"
John Lin did not refuse.
"Sir, I heard that your are the buyer in the restaurant. I want to ask you if you want to buy some eggs from me."
Celia simply explained her intention.
"Did you bring any eggs with you?"
John Lin said.
"Yes, I have brought the eggs. Sharon, please help me bring the eggs."
However, Sharon was not as motivated as he used to be. On the contrary, he drooped his head with his lips pouted. When he saw John, his eyes was burning with hatred.
"Miss, who is this?"
Soon, John found Sharon with an egg in his hand.
"This is my distant relative. He sent me the eggs today. How about this egg?"
Celia just wanted to sell the eggs, so she didn't have the time to care about how Sharon felt.
"The egg looks good. How many you have?"
John Lin was very satisfied with this egg.
"I have 490 eggs today." Content © provided by NôvelDrama.Org.
Celia said.
"That's too much. If we don't need so many eggs, how about your price? If it's beyond my budget, I can't make the decision."
After all, there were hundreds of eggs.
"My price is good, Mr. John, based on the price you usually get, I will offer a little lower price for my eggs. What do you think?"
After all, she was asking for help here and she didn't prepare any present. If she didn't lower her price, she had no advantage at all.
"How about I pay you 21cents per egg? The price is almost the same as the one I purchased. I won't take advantage of you."
Celia could tell that John Lin was an honest man.
"Of course. Thank you very much, Mr. John."
Celia didn't expect to find the partner in such restaurant so quickly.
"You're welcome. We would all benefit from the deal. Where are the rest of the eggs?"
John scratched his head in embarrassment. Although most of the waitresses in this restaurant were young girls, he had never seen such a beautiful girl like Celia. He was totally enchanted by her.
"The rest of the eggs are in the hall. Sharon, can you help me move them here?"
Celia ordered happily, didn't notice that Sharon was staring at her with a livid face.
"Well, if your cousin is not feeling well, let me help you with it."
Although John was nerd, he was extremely kind and hospitable at this time.
"Who said that I'm not feeling well!"
Furiously, Sharon went to the front hall to get the eggs.
