Chapter 7
Chapter 7
"vam luchshe imet' kristall gotov ... g. Solvact ne mirit'sya s opozdaniye, vy znayete, chto on delayet, kogda on serditsya ... da ... vy luchshe, do svidaniya"
I was so screwed.
I knew Russian, and I picked up a few bits a pieces from the conversation Xavier was having outside the door...he locked me in a room.
I heard:
"crystal"
And.
"You know what Mr. Solvact does when he doesn't get his way."
I assumed crystal as in crystal meth, and from what I've seen...I'm pretty sure I'm involved in the worst case sinario: these guys were in the Russian Mafia.
I pressed my ear closer to the door, straining to get every word when the door suddenly flew open, sending me falling through the opening.
"Shït" I muttered with a groan.
"You were listening weren't you?" He muttered as he ran a hand through his chocolate brown locks.
"Nada." I smiled at him.
He quirked an eyebrow at me, "that means nothing in Spanish."
"Oh." I shrugged and stood, brushing off my pant legs. "Well I'm a spy aren't I? You should expect me to be listening in."
"Former spy"
I winced, "don't remind me."
After all I knew it was to come, I had accepted the consequences that if one of my missions were to be compromised I would get burned, and I knew any day now my records would freeze, and I would become a nobody.
"Did you understand what we were saying?" He asked.
I pressed my lips, "not really" I lied, a little.
"Then tell me little girl, how did you manage a conversation in Russian with Sin?"
Oh shit.
"Well...I told him to go fuck himself, and I looked up how to say it online. I'm a kid" I answered his confused look "yeah I do stupid shit."
He pressed his back against the door, his huge figure almost taking up the entire frame.
"Wait, where you worked, wasn't it like a requirement to learn languages?"
"Well, yeah but not Russian. I'm fluent in French, German, and Italian. When I was training, the curriculum didn't include me having to deal with the Russian mafia."
His eyebrows shot up, he stood straight "you know were in the Mafia?"
Damnit. Why did I have to have such a big mouth?
"Um...well, y-you... I j-just" I couldn't sputter anything out without it sounding wrong.
He began to walk away "Izvinite. Excuse me, I'll be right back."
He shut the door and locked it.
Dammit I had the biggest fücking mouth.
I barged around the room, searching for an escape, now that they knew I had information. They would never let me go, in fact they were probably going to kill me.
I pushed past the drawers, there was nothing, just a fucking hotel bible (sorry to you Christians if I sound disrespectful).
I pressed my fingers against the door, to test how strong it was, maybe I could break through it.
Just then I heard voices and I panicked.
I ran over to the drawer and picked up the bible, at least it was something to hit them with.
"Grey, Sin wants to- ow! Fuck! yebat'!"
He turned to face me, his hands pressed to his head.
"A bible? Your kidding?"
I clenched my teeth, "well it hurt you? So it kinda worked?"
He rolled his eyes and grabbed the bible from me.
"As I was saying, Sin wants to talk to you. Now."
Dammit, see? He was going to kill me.
"I'm busy." I muttered.
"Doing what? Reading a fucking bible? Durak. Just go." Material © NôvelDrama.Org.
I'm 98% sure he just called me a fool.
"Is he going to kill me?"
He shrugged, "depends on what you say and what you do. If I were him you just hit with a bible, he'd drown you in fucking holy water. Now go."
His voice was serious, but his face was soft.
"Fine, but if he kills me, it's on you."
I slipped out of the room, wishing I had a bible, I walked to the room Xavier pointed to.
It was big and scary, I timidly raised my hand and knocked 5 times.
"vvodit'. Enter." Sins voice called out.
I found myself standing in a massive, dark office, looking like a midget in the massive decor furniture.
Sin sat at a large oak desk, his dark hair was a gorgeous mess, his muscles bulging out of a tight black t-shirt. He looked breath taking.
"Sit." He muttered to me.
I reluctantly slipped into a chair that could fit two girls my size.
"So the secret is out. Da?" He muttered.
I shrugged casually, "not much of a secret Mr. Solvact. It's pretty obvious."
I thought that if I acted nonchalant, then everything would go smooth...Wrong. I was horribly wrong.
"Well we can't have a little girl running around, sharing secrets now can we? We might as well..." His voice trailed off as he pulled out a gun, and pointed at me.
I didn't blink an eye "kill me you then can't get your stupid launch codes."
He let out a low rumbled laugh "little suka. Those codes are nothing now. We have it under control, you have no leverage. Don't you know the codes change every day? It's a new day Ms. Ravenwood."
My blood went cold.
"Bu-...I mean I j-"
He cut me off by turning the safety off the gun.
"Suka. Little poor suka. It's one of two options. Number Odin, I kill you right now, make this easy for all of us. Number dva, you stay here, do whatever we say, stay out of our way, answer out questions, and be our source of entertainment. Now konfetka. Sweetie. What'll it be?"
I sucked in a breath, "number one is tempting, but I have a question about number two, how long do I stay here?"
He seemed to weigh the question.
"Until I say so." Jerk
"
I choose door number two."
He shrugged, "Khorosho. Okay. Now let's go get you some clothes, I want my shirt back, that is unless...you want to walk around without a shirt. Da?" He smirked.
I crossed my arms over my chest.
His eyes flickered to my movement, "get out suka."
