Chapter 2 She Felt Distressed for Him
Chapter 2 She Felt Distressed for Him
Elizabeth became angry from embarrassment, “Bastard!"
At the moment the man turned his head, the sound of slap was sounded in the room loudly.
Elizabeth raised her hand to slap on the man's face while she was scolding, but it made the man
fainted on the bed.
Er -- did she hit him too hard?
All of a sudden, Elizabeth was aghast.
When she completely adapted to the dark environment, she saw the black profile of the figure in the
room gradually with a little light.
Elizabeth took out the candle and lighter from the drawer of bedside desk. She lit the candle and stood
it in the small white porcelain plate on the desk.
It was quiet at night. After the dark clouds passed by the moon, the moonlight shone the room,
sprinkling on the man's body.
He had a short broken hair, carved face, a high nose and thin dry lips with sharp edges.
Further down, it was his sexy collarbone and muscular chest...
He looked mature. His hair was broken and untidy. His face was painted and his chin was covered with
stubble.
Although he was unkempt, he could hardly hide his handsome appearance.
He was really handsome with mature sexy and masculine!
Well? Why was it sticky?
When she recovered from the appreciation of his body, Elizabeth felt that her hands were a little sticky.
Subconsciously, she lowered her head and saw a roughly 10-centimeter bloody tear on the left side of
the man's eight-pack abs, with blood oozing out.
There was lots of blood!
Elizabeth hurriedly picked up the mobile phone from the bedside table and was ready to call the police,
but she hesitated.
In that case...
Was he running away from his enemies?!
If she gave him away, wouldn't she put him in danger?!
At the thought of this, Elizabeth took a sigh.
But, he assaulted her, should she take him? NôvelDrama.Org holds text © rights.
If she did not take him, would he die?
Elizabeth tangled for a while and decided to help him.
From her small medicine cabinet, she took out cotton swabs, oil, gauze, disinfectant alcohol, surgical
sutures, surgical needles and scissors.
Elizabeth then went to wash her hands with hand sanitizer and then applied alcohol to them. After all
the disinfection preparations were completed, she began to sew up the man's wounds.
She had to stop the bleeding first. Luckily the cut in his abdomen was not deep enough to pierce his
internal organs.
The man seemed to sleep soundly. When she sewed his wounds, he was silent.
After the wound had been stitched up, she gave him an astringent and an anti-inflammatory.
While Elizabeth was dressing his wound, her forehead was covered with sweat. She only hoped that
when he awoke, there would be no sequela.
After all, in the past, she had only stitched up animals that had had c-sections.
Elizabeth knew this because her grandmother was a barefoot doctor in the village. She not only treated
people and delivered babies, but also animals.
She was raised by her grandmother since childhood and became her assistant. Therefore, she was
familiar with how to deal with some trauma.
Before high school, Elizabeth grew up in the countryside and was taken back to the town by her
parents after her grandmother died.
Elizabeth dealt with the wound on the man's abdomen carefully, and then took the gauze to gently
bandage him.
He must have lost so much blood that he fainted.
If he stayed in a coma for too long, she would send him to the hospital.
Just as she cut the gauze from his wound, he opened his eyes slowly.
Thank God, the guy finally woke up!
Just as Elizabeth was breathing a sigh of relief, it happened that the light from the phone, which had
been put aside, pierced his black eyes. The cold in his eyes made her shudder.
He sat up suddenly, clamped Elizabeth’s delicate and thin neck tightly, and said in cold and alert voice,
“Huh, do you want to kill me?"
Suddenly, scissors slipped from Elizabeth’s hand, and her body was stiff.
The sweat from her forehead dripped on the man's wrists and she held her breath.
Elizabeth was afraid that the man failed to control his strength and pinched her neck to break!
“You… No, you are hurt! I'm trying to save you!" Elizabeth frowned and gripped his cold wrist tightly
with both hands.
She did not expect that he was so strong after all the blood he had shed!
As he adjusted to the dim light, he began to look at the girl who had put him on his guard with his cold
eyes.
He couldn't see the girl clearly. But remembering the lingering kiss with her and his physical reaction to
her, he slowly let go of her.
"Give me the phone!" said the man coldly.
This man changed his face fast!
Elizabeth picked up the phone from the bed and handed it to him.
After snatching the phone from her hand, the man quickly dialed a number, pressed the phone to his
ear and said, "Karl, it's me!"
"What's your room number?" The man said with cold tone and looked at Elizabeth.
Elizabeth answered, “1808!"
The man then told Karl her room number.
He said few words before he hung up the phone, and then threw the phone back to her.
Elizabeth caught the phone and left the room after making sure he would not hurt her.
She went to the kitchen, took a bowl of soup from the refrigerator, and heated it on the gas stove.
Then she poured the soup into the bowl, took a spoon into the bowl, picked it up and returned to the
room.
A faint smell of meat came from the kitchen, the man sitting on the bed could not help but swallow
saliva.
Elizabeth handed the bowl to the man, “Drink it, it can enrich your blood."
The man took the bowl and drank a mouthful of it without using the spoon.
He was hungry.
As he had expected, the soup and the meat in it were delicious.
This woman was a good cook!
"What soup is this?" The man asked coldly as he ate freely.
Elizabeth replied lightly, “Pig liver soup with red jujube and medlar, which was for nourishing blood. It is
suitable for you."
Pig liver!
The man's face changed a little and he asked stiffly, "Is this something you did especially for
me?"
