Chapter 91
Thunder POV
We spent almost a week in Baguio and as my wife told me she wanted Marga to help now so what we did the other day was we also sent her parents here. They could not believe that they would be able to see their daughter again who they thought was dead.
They also talked about Marga coming back with them and she also asked for a favor to include Granny with them because she said she no longer has a family and they did not hesitate to agree because they are very indebted to Nanang in fostering their child.
And if you ask what happened to Jewel and me, you can tell if we are okay again even though she is often naughty or hot -tempered and I understand that because she is pregnant. And now her things are in order because this is the day we will go home.
I put the things in the car to get it ready while Jewel was happily talking to Granny and Marga, the next day they were leaving because they still had things to fix. Granny was going to sell her house here but Marga’s parents said to make it a vacation house.
“You’re going back to your family now. Next time, don’t run away.” Marga joked with Jewel, who made us laugh.
“Don’t be stubborn either, help Tito and Tita because I’m sure that’s what your older brother wants and he’ll be happy.” Jewel said to her.
I approached Grannywho was standing next to Marga while smiling. “Thank you for accepting and taking care of my wife.” I said..
“It’s nothing, I was really happy because Marga and I had someone here and another thing is that your wife is kind.” she replied.
I smiled and my wife leaned over and hugged Granny. “Thank you so much for accepting me even though at first you didn’t know that Marga and I know each other, I’m happy to have met you and know if your life with Marga’s family will be fine.” Jewel said calmly.
We didn’t stay long and left so that the night wouldn’t catch up with us. Jewel’s parents already know that I am with their daughter and that our son Storm wants to go home, just in case we aren’t there yet so I’ll just pick him up tomorrow.
FASTFORWARD
It’s been five months since my family got back together and we’ve been happier because with Jewel’s pregnancy, there will be more to our family. During those months my wife and I grew even stronger in love with our son Storm. We have been to several countries for vacation and we have even celebrated Storm’s birthday.
Sometimes I can’t go to the office because of Jewel’s delicate pregnancy, there are times when she wants something to eat and wants to be given it so I prefer to work at home temporarily.
Our son Storm is starting to attend a private school, he doesn’t have a hard time because our son is smart.
Our friends also visit here often so somehow my wife will not be bored.
And as for Jhazzy, he is no longer in the Philippines and she’s with my cousin Dane, but before they left, she went to us to personally apologize. Sure something happened to us during the times me and Jewel weren’t okay but I never had children with her. She and Dane had been in a relationship for several years until she got pregnant. All I know is that they had an argument so they left and took their son with her.
I am currently in my office here at home because I have reviewed papers sent to me by my secretary, suddenly the door opens and the smiling wife enters it carrying a tray. I stood up and greeted and supported her onto the mini sofa.
“I made you a snack knowing how much work you’re doing right now.”
“I just need to read some for approval so I’m just finishing them to get started.” I answered and sat down.
“I told you to come into the office because I’m okay and our maids are still here.”Belonging © NôvelDram/a.Org.
“It’s okay even though I’m here at home, I can still work and one more thing I want to make sure you’re alright.” I answered.
“Our baby is only six months old so I’m still okay. You don’t need to worry about me because I’m not alone.” she insisted.
I just shook my head. “I’m okay here, when there are important meetings I’ll go.” I said.
She just sighed and then nodded. She knows that she can’t force me on such a matter, even though we have talked about it a few times, one day we will actually return to this topic.
“You don’t want to eat?” I asked her.
“I ate before I went here so I’m full,” she replied.
“You should have just accompanied me.” I said.
She laughed and didn’t speak so I just continued eating. I am happy with this family, only with my wife and my son, my life is complete. I never thought I would be happy like this, fortunately I was lucky with my wife that even though I was confused before and I hurt her too much, she chose to forgive me.
