Summer had been searching high and low for his mom but couldn’t find her anywhere. Sacting the accortunity when his uncle was distracted, he slipped out unnoticed.
Relying on his memory he went to the villa Vincent had taken him and his mom to, but the security guard wouldnt let him in With no other options, he headed to find Rhett.
Summer had seen it on the news. Everyone knew that Rhett was the baddest dude in all of
vergrove Oh So Rhett had to be able to save his mom.
doo, how old are you? You can’t just go around picking out dads, you know?” The security guard was still having a laugh with the little guy. After all, five–year–old Summer was at his
test, super handsome and adorable, a real crowd–pleaser.
The’s really my dad.” Summer said innocently
Maybe it was a kid’s fixation on the strong. He just wanted the toughest guy to be his dad, so he could keep his mom safe
This little guy’s got talent,” the security guard chuckled to the receptionist.
But the receptionist locked disgusted. “Look at his washed–out clothes. He’s clearly from a poor family. Mr. Rogerald is too busy for this, just kick him out already.”
Summer ditched his faded stuffed toy and hung his head, not saying a word.
Ex, it’s fitty just throw it out already the reception manager said angrily, ordering someone to shoo Summer away. This is an office, not the children’s park. What’s with security? How car this kid just waitz in?”
Summer looked down at the doll in his hands and murmured softly, “It’s not dirty. Uncle Samer made it for me.”
The security guard took a closer look at Summer’s toy and finally realized it was a handmade incredibly ugly Superman.
The security guard couldn’t help but laugh at Summer’s toy, and he pleaded softly. “Boss, I’ll carry the kid out now. He’s just little. Let’s not be too harsh on him.”
Herst? This is an office! Get him out of here, now! Who knows where this kid came from or if he’s intentional or not? If Mr. Fitzgerald sees this, you can kiss your job goodbye,” the manager said angrily, muttering under his breath, “What’s with people these days, even coming here to find a dad. Who wouldn’t want Mr. Fitzgerald for a dad? I’d even want Mr. Fitzgerald to be my kids Dad
Summer hugged his toy his eyes welling up, and turned to leave.
He wasn’t diny at alll. Uncle Garner washed his clothes every day. They were clean and smelled nice

“Summer?” As Rhett stepped out of the elevator, the sight of Summer’s downcast silhouette made an unexpected knot form in his chest.
Summer’s eyes were red, and he looked back at Rhett, his head drooping with sadness.
“Mr. Fitzgerald…” The security guard was so scared that he quickly stepped aside.
The receptionist and the manager were also taken aback. Mr. Fitzgerald actually knew this
kid.
“Where’s your mom?” Rhett glanced around, surprised to see Summer all alone.
“Dad.
“The bad guys took her. Dad, go to save her with me,” Summer said, offering his Superman toy to Rhett. He really liked Rhett, which was why he was giving Rhett his treasured toy. fight monsters to protect Mom.
York, with a look of disdain, wanted to chuck the toy away. It was so dirty, clearly made from old clothes. And Mr. Fitzgerald was a neat freak.
But Rhett took the toy, inspecting it. “Who made this for you?”
“Uncle Garner,” Summer said carefully, watching Rhett’s reaction. “If you help me save mom, I’ll give it to you…
Rhett paused for a moment, seeing how much the kid liked the doll.
“Let’s go, I’ll take you to find your mom.” Rhett picked up Summer with one arm and headed
out.
York’s jaw nearly hit the floor in shock. This was all wrong. If Mr. Fitzgerald had a soft spot for Kristin, it was because Kristin was useful. But this little squirt… Didn’t Mr. Fitzgerald hate kids the most?
Miss Eve’s kid would burst into tears at the sight of Mr. Fitzgerald.
Not just York, but the manager and the receptionist were also too shocked to breathe.
Is this grubby little kid calling Mr. Fitzgerald “Dad“? When did Mr. Fitzgerald become a father? “York, what’s going on here…” the receptionist asked nervously.
As Rhett walked out with Summer, York blurted out, ‘Lately Mr. Fitzgerald’s been into charity!” The receptionist lit up his face with understanding. So this was a kid Mr. Fitzgerald was sponsoring. What good fortune!
To be held by Mr. Fitzgerald, this kid must have saved the world in his past life.
“They say Mr. Fitzgerald’s so cold and distant, but look at him holding a child, so warm.”
“I’m already dreaming of having Mr. Fitzgerald’s babies…”
The girls at the reception desk were all starry–eyed.
Meanwhile, York was getting anxious “Mr Fitzgerald, you still have a meeting”
Reschedule it
Rhett got in the cat looking at Summer. “Did your mom tell you to come find me?”
Summer shook his head. “On Uncle Gamer’s phone, I can look up your information to be
here”
Rhett raised an eyebrow. “Who taught you that?”
