Chapter 12
Chapter 12
Upon seeing Anastasia’s unhappy face, Jason whispered, “Abortion is illegal here, so… you need to contact your boyfriend or husband to sign before you can leave the hospital.”
Anastasia came back to her senses and smiled apologetically at Jason. “I’m sorry for causing you trouble…”
“It’s nothing. We should help each other in a foreign country.” Jason didn’t leave Anastasia alone and sat at the side while waiting for Kimberly to come back.
Anastasia looked at the pregnancy check–up report and called Alastor.
She didn’t know if he would come to Atharia with her.
Alastor didn’t answer her several calls, and the last call was answered by Felicia. “What’s the matter?”
Felicia’s tone was very rude.
Anastasia felt pain in her heart and asked in a hoarse voice, “Where is Alastor?”
“Do you really need to pretend not to understand? If Alastor doesn’t bring it up proactively, it’s to save face for both of you.
If you take the initiative to divorce, he won’t mistreat you,” Felicia said angrily.
“Felicia, let Alastor answer the phone!” Anastasia was short of breath and a little emotional.
Jason stood at the side and looked at Anastasia meaningfully.
“Anastasia, he won’t answer your phone. He’s asked me to tell you that he wanted to show mercy! Tell you a secret, Alastor asked me to give him a baby and said that he would divorce you if I agreed.”
Felicia said that Alastor had asked her to have a baby for him. Copyright Nôv/el/Dra/ma.Org.
“You know what? Alastor liked children very much. When we broke up, I had a baby for him. At that time, he cared about me and said that he would never have a child again. No one deserves to give birth to his child except me,” Felicia said provocatively.
She was confident because she was being favored.
Anastasia’s knuckles turned white while she was holding the phone, and her whole body shook.
“What a coincidence… I’m pregnant.” Anastasia laughed ironically. “Felicia, I won’t divorce Alastor. You and your child will never be legitimate. I don’t have to worry about it. Let’s wait and see.”
After hanging up the phone, Anastasia threw her phone away.
After taking a few deep breaths, Anastasia wiped away her nosebleed and threw it into the trash can.
“Do you need any help?” Jason asked calmly while standing at the side.
Only then did Anastasia remember that Jason was still there.
“Yes.” Anastasia looked at Jason and said again. “Pretend to be my boyfriend and sign the papers. I want to be discharged from the hospital. Thank you.”
Jason smiled and pointed to the IV drip on Anastasia’s head. “Yes, but you have to finish it first.”
Anastasia looked up at the infusion bag and leaned against the head of the bed.
Jason didn’t say anything more. He sat quietly by the window and looked at his phone.
Several Aplothian girls stared at him for a long time and gathered the courage to ask for his contact information.
Jason refused in fluent Atharian and pointed to Anastasia, showing that he had a girlfriend.
“You’re very good at rejecting girls.” Anastasia looked at Jason, wanting to know more about him.
“We are helping each other out.” Jason smiled.
His smile was really charming, sunny, and cheerful, with an innate nobility.
*Felicia… Do you know that girl?” Anastasia looked at Jason.
“Yeah.” Jason nodded without denying it.
“Are you her ex–boyfriend?” Anastasia had asked Kimberly about Jason. Felicia had been chasing him for a long time, and Anastasia heard that they broke up within a few days of being together.
Jason was barely Felicia’s ex–boyfriend.
Jason didn’t deny it.
“Why did you break up?” Anastasia knew that she was taking the liberty to ask, so she lowered her head. “Sorry.”

Jason could tell that Anastasia was angry.
She was out of control just then.
“I wasn’t her ex–boyfriend. She thought I was someone from the wealthy Gunn family in Hork, so she pursued me for a while. But when she realized I come from an ordinary family, she stopped pursuing me.” Jason didn’t hide anything; he had never told anyone that he was part of the Gunn family.
Anastasia was stummed for a moment and rubbed her eyebrows, feeling it ironic.
Felicia was someone who loved the rich indeed.
