Colby moved closer to Sophie, whispering, "I know you're tired, a lot has happened today. It's okay, I'm here with you. Everything is over now." Sophie glanced at Gordon's indifferent profile, her mind filled with the gentle murmurs of the boy from her dreams.

At this point, Sophie knew all too well, even if she pressed on, she wouldn't get the answers she sought.

Odie's face darkened, holding back only because Jenna was a woman.

Leading the way, Elodie said, "I heard

the core members of The Silent Shadows are so loyal because they've walked this path of redemption. I've always wanted to see what's so different about it, never had the chance until now."

As Odie moved forward, a young boy's joyful voice suddenly rang in his ears, "Mommy!"
